Nope but my bedroom growing up was and I don't remember the door ever bothering me. It got cold in my room though! So that might be one thing to watch out for.
I think it's one of those things you get used to if it's your home. I always used to wake up at my aunt's house if anyone opened the garage door, but my cousin slept right through it.
If you have a particularly old/loud opener, you can always consider having a new track/opener put in. A friend of mine put in a new "silent" one, and it was almost creepy how quiet it is.
The sound your aorta makes while your baby is in utero is as loud as a vacuum cleaner. People/babies only get used to it being quiet after they're born. If he/she immediately gets used to house noises, like the garage door, it shouldn't ever be an issue.
My baby slept through all the insane fireworks at New year's no problem and it sounded like we were in friggin Gaza. Unless you keep everyone and everything crazy quiet, sounds won't wake babies up all that easily.

OUr is as well and I never thought about. Our other available bedroom is just too far away for while he's a baby and I'll be back and forth between his room and mine (I'm sure he'll love it when he is a teenager though).
I am worried about the cold issue as that was something that we dealt with in my parents house growing up, however our garage is pretty insulated so I hope we are good

Ours is, and it's fine. But, DD sleeps with a sound machine (and has since she was an infant). You can still slightly hear the garage door even with the sound machine, but not loud enough that it bothers her.

I know PPs mentioned that it might be cold. That's not the case for DD's room; hers is the warmest of any of the upstairs rooms. Not sure why, but it is. Definitely something to pay attention to, though!
Ours is, and my DH has always hated how loud it is. We considered the quiet opener as a PP mentioned, more for our own sake than the baby's, but we hope to move in a year and didn't want to leave it behind. My DH tightened the track and greased the gears, so it's a little quieter, but the baby will have to just get used to it.
