s/o Poll: Which of these 2 spellings do you prefer?

Sorry for the 2nd poll, but after that pronunciation poll, I have one question left.

(I know there are many different ways to spell this name, but these are the two we like the best).

The two options are Shaily and Shayli

ETA: I might play around with other spellings, too. I'm not a big fan of names ending in the letter "i" but it also seems odd to add too many more "y"s in there. Shayley? Shailey?

I know of a girl with this name and she spells it Shaylee, if you're looking for another option that might not have as many issues with pronunciation.

OP-Just curious...Is your actual name Shayna and is this the first name you are thinking of for your DD? If so, I think it's cute they are similar.

I think Shayli is prettier. I agree with smock and would probably add an "e" at the end to make it Shaylie. I am not a huge fan of the ee thing (shaylee), I think it will look very dated in a couple of years.

It's very close, but I might pronounce Shaily like shale - ee I think Shaylie could work.

IDK how much this matters to you but it's always interesting to me.

The "shai" beginning seems to coincide with Hindi origins, while the "shay" beginning seems to coincide with Gaelic origins.

Neither. I think Shailey looks the most normal. If I had to choose one those two spellings I would do Shaily. Shayli is not good.
