The other day I got an email from Lane Bryant confirming my order. I didn't order - checked the bank account - nothing there, so I ignored it.
Then I get a follow up email with my shipping status. The name of the girl and the credit card (they only list last 4 digits) is not me. I've never ordered from Lane Bryant at all actually so I can't figure out how on earth my email got linked to this girl's account.
Contact LB support via email with no response yet. Still nothing showing on my credit card.
That is so bizarre! I'm thinking the girl has a similar email to yours and just gave them the wrong email when placing her order. Hopefully they'll get in touch with you and will have a number so they can reach her.
I would be more concerned for the girl whose information they're throwing out there. Is there any possibility she could've mistyped? Like do you have an email address that isn't incredibly unique? I would definitely call LB if you have time and alert them, and ask how it happened.
Email mixups are happening more and more with gmail, and starting to happen more on yahoo... you should probably contact Lane Bryant if nothing else to let them know so they can make sure this won't happen again.
I would double check the email it came to as well. My email is first.last@gmail, and emails to firstlast@gmail also come through to me occasionally. It's totally bizarre, but I read up on it and it can happen.

The odd thing is that her name is totally different from mine so the email wouldn't even be close. Maybe it's a maiden name? Who knows.
I guess I'll just wait for LB to contact me back so they can get in touch with her. At least the order says it's shipping to an address that's not mine. Hope it's hers!
