PT'd 3yo wetting the bed. Help, please

Hi, I mostly lurk on MM but need your help,

My 3yo DD has been fully potty trained since September-October. No accidents, underwear at night, etc.

In the last week she has peed the bed 3 times.

If this happened to you what did you do to help your child?

Before she would wake up and yell for us (and has in this past week too) but not always now.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Is she sick or has a UTI?

I don't have much advice because 4.5 y old DS is in a pull up at night. He physically can't hold it.

You could try waking her in the middle of the night and taking her t the bathroom. This always scares me, though, because I don't want him to start partying in the middle of the night.

I didn't even think of a UTI.

I've never had one, is there an easy way to test for it?

What is her liquid intake in the evening? 3 is still pretty young, even for staying dry overnight when she is PTed. My DS went through phases where he wet himself at night and I just limited his liquids and fruit in the evening and that helped. I also would take him potty in the middle of the night once.

I'd check a UTI, but it could just be normal. My son went through something similar. We just put him in pullups and put a pad on the mattress. The pedi said it was just normal body development and he'd grow out of it. He did grow out of it.

I'd say uti or constipation, too.
What does she say when you ask her?

Now that I think of it a few days ago she said her "butt hurt".

She scratches a lot so we thought it was just that.

I asked her if it hurt when she pees just now and she said "no, just when I scratch"

She also isn't one to complain though, she could be really sick and won't tell us.
