After a bad experience a few years ago on a local message board I have only lurked:))
Figured this was a good board to start with since I have found myself surprisingly pregnant! A bit of an intro: Married my high school boyfriend almost 14 years ago. We have 3 lovely kids, DD1 is 11, DS1 is 8, and DD3 is 6. We wanted another so haven't been preventing but not charting or anything like that. After 6 years we were surprised with a positive test about 10 weeks ago. That puts me at 15 weeks tomorrow. EEKK! So I am 40 and my body decides it is time for baby #4.
Born and raised in Florida. We are excited but a little shocked!
What part? There is/was a couple of us Florida girls
I just saw you're from south florida! I just moved away from there to go to grad school. I do not miss the crazy old people driving Lincoln towncars and the 90F weather!

Congrats! And welcome. As a 3 time veteran, I hope you can bring some good wisdom and experience to this board
Do you still have your baby stuff or are you buying everything again?
We donated everything, crib, high chair, swing, clothes...about one month before we found out. I have to just remember that we helped a lot of moms and babies.

Aww, dang. I think that's a good perspective though. Whenever I think I've got too much baby stuff or over spent, I always think how happy a new mom will be when I donate them one day.
With kids that far apart, I don't think it would be unreasonable to have a baby shower.
