How are they going? Ours was this morning. C is doing great. She is 28 inches (75th percentile) and weighs 22lbs 10oz (97th+ percentile). Doc noted that her growth has slowed down (thank goodness, lol).
She has started cruising along furniture a bit and her fave activity is pulling up on everything. When I asked about solids, pedi said hold off on peanut butter until 2 and honey until 1. We'll try to follow that. She also said no eggs until 1 but we've already done those. Oops.
Ours isn't until Feb. 9. But she basically told us at the 6m, once you hit 9m it's full speed ahead with food, 3 meals a day, etc. I have a bunch of questions down in my phone to ask her.
I'm surprised she told you to wait that long on PB? Do you have a family history of allergies or something?
ETA: I guess I'll add milestones too!
E is pulling up like a champ, now she's pulling up on even higher things! She took a couple steps with her activity walker with DH's prodding last night (I was hoping he wouldn't, but oh well). Food is hit or miss. She seems to want to have the same things as us at dinner, so I'm going to have to up my dinner game I guess.
Daycare wants us to start sending finger foods for lunch, so I'll do that next week. Her pincher grasp is getting so much better. I already started sending puffs so she can have "snack" with the bigger infants. She'll get daycare snack at 10m.
I'm pretty sure yesterday she signed milk at me. She was super hungry (miscommunication since I picked her up early from daycare) and she kept opening and closing her right hand at me. She definitely knows the word "milk" when we say it.
Teeth are a nightmare and makes her sleep non-existent. There have been many nights with one of us sleeping with her on the recliner in her room. Last night was really bad and DH has had most nights b/c all I can do is feed her and go back to sleep since I'm still not feeling well.
Ours was a few weeks ago - ginormo baby is just shy of 31" and is 23lb12oz - egads. Essentially off the charts.
Very slow to the party on mobility skills, though Pedi didn't seem concerned in general. She was more than pleased with his social and jargon skills though - so I guess that's something, haha. We were full speed ahead on food with the same exceptions noted by @libgrl - though Pedi said as we NEARED one-year we could do the eggs/etc things...I'm going to introduce them soon.
We had W's on Jan 2 and it went well. He's 28.5 inches and 19 lbs 6 oz. Growing right along the track, with a small dip in weight this time. We did have a shot (I think hep b?) and a blood draw for a CBC. All were fine.
DS is crawling like a champ and is obsessed with pulling up to standing and practicing getting back down. Eating is going well but he has some sort of food allergy so we're being cautious. We have testing for that next week. Before that the only thing we were holding off on was honey.

Ours is next week, but I know her stats because she had an ear infection last week.
4/19 baby- 29.5 inches (90th) 20lbs (85th)
Pulling up and cruising. She climbed up our outside steps yesterday. Loves bath time. Signs all done. Says Kee for cat and mama. Generally a very happy baby, but still a sucky sleeper. We're doing CIO.
Likes all food except rice cereal and bananas.
2 teeth with at least one top one trying to come through as well.
I don't remember exact stats but it was like 17sonething pounds & 27" or something. Her height was 8th% which is weird as all my kids have been 75%+ in height until her. Her gross motor is slow & we are doing an eval in 2wks. She still just sits, rolls & just now pushes up on her hands. Her fine motor is good & she mostly self feeds. She lives solids all of a sudden right about at 9mo. She still nurses 5ish times a day plus at night. She's very verbal & talks quite a bit. She claps, waves, high fives, feeds her baby a bottle, etc. she does hand motions to tidy bitsy, pattacake, twinkle twinkle. She loves being pushed around by her sisters & bathes. Basically she's a spoiled princess who won't lift a finger but let's you know her needs. Lol.

Ours isn't for a couple more weeks. As far as food we already tried eggs too, she doesn't like them yet no surprise. We are holding off on honey and pb until a year but that's it. I don't get the 2yr thing with pb, the research just doesn't support that. I guess just being cautious.
Mine is crawling everywhere, pulling up and started cruising a bit too. Crazy how fast all of that came in just the last few weeks. This is such a fun age!
Ours isn't until next month. J is a champ at crawling, and just started pulling himself up to stand. He also started saying "mama" but only when he's crying. So heartbreaking!
We gave him eggs a few weeks ago. Oops! He loves Cheerios, yogurt, bananas, and puffs. We just started signing with him, but so far he just laughs hysterically at our signs. He does recognize us saying "bottle" though, and will spit out his pacifier and open his mouth when he's hungry.
DS was just shy of 28" and exactly 17 lbs at his 9 month visit. Still a peanut.
He's cruising and crawling. Starting to let go of furniture when he's standing (several times) and looking around to see what happens next. Sometimes he grabs right back on quickly, and other times he promptly sits.
I'm late to the party! J is almost 8 months so her 9m well check is not until next month. She was 94% weight at her 6 month check though, lol.
She has been standing unassisted and has taken two staggering attempts at steps. No 'successful' steps yet, just lots of cruising, crawling, and getting into everything.
She is another who says 'mama' at the end of crying, like brooklyn's LO. She will babble mamamamamamamamaaaaa sometimes too, which is very sweet.
Solid foods are sucking though. She won't let me feed her, won't use preloaded spoons, and gags on everything. It. Sucks.
Another little peanut checking in. We had her 9 month wellness and developmental re-eval last week. She's still barely hanging on the growth curve at 15 lbs (2 percentile) and 10th percentile for height. At her developmental re-eval, we found out she's still showing delays in her motor skills which I know is to be expected but still difficult especially when I see other babies her age already moving around. On the plus side, her communication skills are taking off and she's no longer showing delays in that area.
Our nine month isn't until next month but she is doing great! She was 99% height and 88% weight at her 6 month appointment and has still be growing like a weed. We can tell she is trying to figure out how to get her legs under her to start crawling but hasn't made it yet. She does the motions of crawling but isn't going anywhere. It's pretty cute!
She's doing great with solids so far. She will at least try everything we have given her. She definitely prefers veggies over fruits and loves her oatmeal. We started giving her puffs a few weeks ago and it's amazing how quickly she has learned to feed herself. We may start on some small bits of soft foods in a few weeks.
Right now we are trying to work on napping in the crib. She is a champion night sleeper (6p-7 or 8am with one wake up) but won't nap anywhere other than on me. She is probably around 19 or so pounds so this is getting old. Any tips on getting her to nap in the crib would be appreciated.
We are still a month + away from 9 months. Bbot is still 97% + for everything last checked, though weight was actually more like 90-97. The ranges confuse me. He is army crawling, and loves getting up on hands and toes, with his butt in the air! This week, we love the letter D, so lots of "dadadadada" and "dididididi." It's very cute.
I wish we had stuck with more BLW. While he's a champ eater, he was better at textures before I became more pouch dependent.
He always falls asleep easily...naps are great. But we never know how many wake ups the night will bring. There is always an approx 4 am feeding required. Often a second before it as well. And other times he just randomly wakes up and cries. Pacifier usually fixes him.
Technically we haven't even had our 7 month visit since B came down with an ear infection the morning of the appointment. He's getting big though - maybe 25th percentile? Sits up, sort of claps, back to only one night wakeup. Entertains himself in bed in the morning for like thirty minutes. Really happy kid. Hates meat.
We had our visit a month ago so I forget most stats but he was just about 20lbs. He army crawls and just started to regular crawl the other day, he pulls to stand, cruises the couch, can get into a sitting position and also hang out on his knees. He claps and is generally a really happy kid. Only STTN a few times and is generally up twice, one time to eat. Last night was an absolute shit show though. He takes 2 longish naps a day at generally the same time which is nice.
I need to get better about food. I always feed him the same stuff for dinner and feed him off my plate throughout the day. Eh. He does take a sippy with water.
