How many weeks? How are you feeling? Anything new and/or exciting? When was your last appointment? Next appointment? Any name ideas you'd like to share? Guesses on girl/boy?
Mommas:
How old is LO? What's new and/or exciting lately? Why is being a mom stressful this week? Why is being a mom worth it this week? Why is your kid crying these days? Is your child named after anyone?
TTGKTFU ladies:
Where are you in your cycle/how long have you been TTGKTFU? Any signs/symptoms? When was your last BCBC? Were you fertile? Does your family have "family names" that people like to use/pass down?
Let's see those pictures! (yes, TTGKTFU ladies have pictures too. we do like to see your pretty faces and your furbabies, etc).
How many weeks? almost 10 weeks How are you feeling? nauseous and exhausted...the gross feeling definitely kicked up a notch in the last week. Anything new and/or exciting? not really, just hoping the end of 1st tri comes soon When was your last appointment? Next appointment? first appointment is on Monday! Any name ideas you'd like to share? Guesses on girl/boy? we won't discuss it until after the A/S. I'm guessing boy while DH is convinced it's a girl. I can only think of girl names, though -- my favorites so far are Seraphina and Marielle/Mariella. DH wants to name this child after his mom (Sophia) but I can't bring myself to name a child the #1 most popular girls name in the US.
Mommas:
How old is LO? 21 months, woah! What's new and/or exciting lately? "No...way!" is her new favorite phrase, possessives, and repeating full sentences. Why is being a mom stressful this week? She's started fighting any clothing changes, but she doesn't want to do it herself either. Just to scream about it. Why is being a mom worth it this week? She runs over and hugs my legs a lot. I also woke up yesterday to her saying "mama elbow" (taps my elbow) "GeeBee elbow" (taps her elbow) "mama elbow" ... Why is your kid crying these days? She's starting to fight transitions (getting dressed, leaving daycare, bedtime). She also had a total meltdown last night bc DH was at a meeting and didn't see her in the evening. He came home late and had to come in and comfort her since she couldn't fall asleep, even though I'd been comforting her in the dark for half an hour at that point. Is your child named after anyone? Apparently her first name is my great grandmother's middle name. Her middle name Meredith was picked to honor my grandmother Edith which also happens to be great grandmother's first name.

KTFU Mommas:
How many weeks? 8w6d How are you feeling? Nauseated, tired, barfy, boobs are sore... the usual. Anything new and/or exciting? Nothing really. My belly is definitely bigger than it was a week ago. When was your last appointment? Next appointment? Last appointment was last Wednesday and we saw the gummy bear and a heartbeat. I'm still extremely paranoid about another m/c though. Any name ideas you'd like to share? Guesses on girl/boy? I would love a boy, but would be just as happy with a girl of course. I just want this pregnancy to stick! No name ideas yet. I haven't thought that far ahead. I'm just waiting for the 12 week NST scan so I know baby is okay and growing.
Mommas:
How old is LO? 2 and change. What's new and/or exciting lately? She is talking so much, and understands everything! She is so, SO funny too. She loves to make us laugh, use her imagination, and play play play. Why is being a mom stressful this week? She is having major meltdowns at the drop of a hat if something doesn't go her way, so we're trying to limit media/screen time, and trying to help her be patient (uphill battle, I know). Why is being a mom worth it this week? The hugs and kisses, and concern she shows for me now if I wince in pain (my back has been bugging me). Why is your kid crying these days? If she doesn't get her way. Which is often. Is your child named after anyone? Nope. She's an original!
I was about to start filling out the KTFU questions when I remembered i'm not anymore lol oops!
Mommas:
How old is LO? 3 weeks 5days What's new and/or exciting lately? Everything with her is new. She is just such a smuggler that I don't mind she always like to be held and loved on. Why is being a mom stressful this week? The other night was hard when she wouldn't get into a deep sleep and I kept having to rotate between boob and bink until about 5am when she finally fell deep asleep Why is being a mom worth it this week? Everything. I'm loving every minute with her Why is your kid crying these days? Usually just when she gets changed. Besides that she is quiet. Is your child named after anyone? First name is just one we liked but middle name is after H's grandma
How old is LO? 3yrs and almost 1 month What's new and/or exciting lately? She's always coming up with new words and funny phrases Why is being a mom stressful this week? her lack of wanting to listen to anything she is told I feel like all I do lately is get at her which I hate. Why is being a mom worth it this week? Bedtime stories are fun, mellow times with her are nice when she is not bothering the dogs or bouncing off walls Why is your kid crying these days? Having to go to bed early, time out, getting one of her minnies taken away Is your child named after anyone? First name is just one we liked but her middle name is after H's mom whom is pretty awesome.

How many weeks? 11w 4d How are you feeling? Really well, actually. Food swings are in full effect, but really, no other symptoms. Anything new and/or exciting? The first trimester is almost over! FINALLY! I want to tell EVERYONE! When was your last appointment? Next appointment? Last appointment was on the 6th. We got to hear the heartbeat for the first time. Next appointment is an NT scan on the 24th, followed by a regular monthly appointment on the 31st. Any name ideas you'd like to share? Guesses on girl/boy? I'm pretty sure it's a boy, but we won't know for sure until the end of March at the earliest. We have a boy name picked out already, and I'm trying to talk Husby into "Samira" for a girl. (His preferences tend to be old-fashioned and Western European, and he thinks all the Hebrew names I'm suggesting - many of which are biblical, by the way! - are "too ethnic.")

He is poopy ...I think Samira is lovely.
It's frustrating, but I'm not worried. I get my way about 90% of the time
How many weeks? 17w4d How are you feeling? Still not great. I think I would feel a LOT better if I could get this post nasal drip under control. So I asked Dr. Google and now I am convinced I actually have silent reflux. Stay away from Dr.Google. Anything new and/or exciting? I think maybe I might be feeling the baby move maybe. Feels like the force of a ping pong ball being thrown at me. IDK could be gas When was your last appointment? Next appointment? Over Christmas. January 31st we have an ultrasound and my next midwife appointment is Feb 8th. Any name ideas you'd like to share? Guesses on girl/boy?
We are thinking Isla, Rose, or Iris for a girl. For a boy Emmett or Oliver are all I can get H on board with and even then he's like well I don't hate them... He literally looks like at every boy name I suggest. I've been all over the board, I even threw in names I thought were completely ridiculous hoping to find something he might like. ANYTHING. I don't have a feeling either way but I just imagine us having a girl, I can't imagine a boy for some reason. This means it is probably going to be a (nameless) boy.
What's new and/or exciting lately? Laughing, trying (still failing) to sit up.
Why is being a mom stressful this week? We're back to nursing every two hours around-the-clock.
Why is being a mom worth it this week? Oh, everything. He's so engaged and interactive and loves our little games. Especially great is all the crazy sounds he makes.
Why is your kid crying these days? Unfortunately, lately, i don't always know.
Is your child named after anyone? His middle name is Dh's, his dad's, gpa's and his great gpa's.
@jennuinne please tell me the post nasal drip goes away the second you give birth. That's what is keeping me from going crazy. It is so gross and I would love to go a day...hell a few hours...without needing to spit. SO GROSS. And, like you said, nothing works! Chewing gum mitigates the grossness for me and makes me a bit less nauseated.
Funny your H really wanted a girl too (my H really wants a girl). He actually told me one day that he just doesn't like boys names, so good luck finding one he can stand. I think he is being obstinate now and if he isn't careful I will name the kid Russellwilson Richardsherman Lefty.

Actually I think it went away third trimester. But if your kid goes to daycare you'll have a fun new round of colds to look forward to.
I'm a teacher, I've been sneezed and coughed on daily since we got back from Christmas (once I had to grab a paper towel thanks to a very wet sneeze...) germs don't scare me! LOL. That is the best news ever about the third tri. I am really hoping to be your twinsie in post nasal drip stoppage

OH MY GOD I AM SO HORRIFIED
8 year olds are delightful and gross. Really gross. We have even practiced sneezing and coughing appropriately...
