Could you just wear a crew neck tshirts and then a cardigan or something else over it, or would that not cover enough neck? I wore t-shirts or tanks under everything.
I work in a lab on occasion that requires clothing that covers up to your neck. Usually, I wear a turtleneck sweater or a button-up (with the top button done while I'm in lab).
Last time I was pg in the summer and the place where I worked did not have specific neck-line regulations, so none of the maternity clothes I have right now fit the bill.
What do you have that you like? It also needs to be fairly inexpensive in case it gets ruined.
What do you work with? In my lab, I work with viruses, bacteria, and radioactivity and we still don't have to cover our necks.

I have bought a couple of maternity turtlenecks from motherhood that were really comfortable. I've been wearing them this winter with a scarf or a big statement necklace. I want to say I paid about 14 to 15 dollars for each.
