Sex in the third tri (probably tmi)

We've been really lucky that up until recently, our sex life has remained mostly normal. Just in the last week or two I've been really sore in the perineum region after sex. Sex itself doesn't hurt (although it is getting a bit more difficult to find a comfortable position) but afterwards I'm all achy, kind of like how I used to feel on day 2 of a bad period. We had sex last night and I am still sore this morning. Any one else experiencing this? Have you found any positions that are more comfortable? I don't want to stop having sex but this achiness sucks!

I would respond to this post w my thoughts, but that would mean that I would have to be having sex recently... Our sex life has taken a major nose dive and I keep waiting for a turn around--it's all me having no interest whatsoever. I'm almost 20 weeks.

When I was pregnant with my son I told my H that if he felt the baby move during sex, DONT SAY ANYTHING!! Creepy!!

All first and part of second tri sex was off limits because I would cramp so badly afterwards and being pg after a m/c, it gave me too much anxiety. Since about 18 or 20 weeks things have been back to normal and now at 28 weeks we still aren't doing anything differently really.

So for us, side lying, doggy, and him standing on the floor/me on my back on the bed, and also cowgirl were our go-to positions for big belly sex.

I remember from last time that lying in my side in a kind of spoonish position worked. Similar to what bricco suggested.

Sex was so awkward & uncomfortable but dammit I wanted her out!

Shower sex was the only was it was happening. LOL at the tmi in this post... But I would lean forward and have my hands/arms against the shower wall, and he would get it from behind...

Ou shower is 6x6, and we have 2 shower heads.. This probably is not the case for most showers.
