How do you know what's normal? I feel like I am hyper sensitive since the loss. I don't really know at what point things went wrong and because some things feel the same I get panicky. Dull cramps here and there. Twinges. Dull aches on either side. Yesterday I felt crappy too. I hate this. . End rant.
Period pain type cramps are supposed to be normal in the first trimester. I get them too. They say with each pregnancy the cramps get worse. That's hearsay, although I can't remember having cramps with DS, but I have had them on and off for this last week and I did have them with my last pregnancy. As long as you are not bleeding bright red blood I think you should be ok. It's easy for me to say, but when its happening to me I freak out too.
Those all sound normal to me for early first trimester. I know the feeling though, I was an absolute mess the whole time analyzing every little thing. PGAL brain really sucks sometimes :-(
I had pretty bad cramps and backache the first few weeks after I found out and it scared me a lot. The cramps felt so similar to the ones I had when miscarrying so I was sure it was happening again. But everything is fine so far. Now I just have slight twinges every once in awhile and I think some round ligament pain sometimes.

I waited quite a while to take a pregnancy test because the cramps felt SO much like my period was starting at any minute. I think i cramped like that until about 6 weeks or so. Like others have said I would try not to worry unless you have very severe cramping and/or red blood.

Everything you've mentioned sounds normal. I think the main things to look out for is bleeding and sharp, one sided pain. I had one sided pain, but it ended up being from a cyst. It's just important to rule out an ectopic pregnancy.
When I was pregnant with DD, I had a lot of cramping and twinges. This pregnancy I haven't had any cramping, but I had really bad lower back pain in the first tri and pain on my sides in early second tri. Also I've had some sharp pain from that cyst. There is a huge range of what is normal.
I understand, feeling the same way. I have been having cramps on and off, especially yesterday. I just keep telling myself not to worry because I am not having any blood. It's so hard to know what is normal and what to be aware of
First tri is the woooorst, even more so for those of us PGAL. Hang in there. When is your first appointment? Are you getting blood draws or anything since you're PGAL?
I was pretty crampy all through first tri - like my period was starting any minute. My doc assured me it was normal and was just my uterus starting to stretch. She said as long as it wasn't severe (as in unbearable) and wasn't accompanied by bleeding, it was ok.
1st tri is so hard - hang in there, though. You'll be in 2nd tri before you know it!

I don't have an appt scheduled yet and I am going in for blood work today. She didn't want me to come in until after I was technically late.
I had dull period-like craps on and off all throughout first tri. Everything you are describing sounds normal to me! Good luck at your blood draw today, I hope you get great results!
Ugh, PGAL brain is the worst. I have had normal cramps on and off so far, too. Before IUP was confirmed, I was convinced I was feeling twinges on my ectopic side. I still feel the occasional phantom pain on that side, but am glad I know it's nothing to be concerned about. Now that the nausea has taken hold, it's provided a distraction from all the unexplained twinges and feelings so that's, uh, good? I guess?
