So I'm 19 weeks 2 days and have been feeling movement for about 2 weeks now (2nd baby). However I haven't felt movement in about 3 days. I know this can be normal this early but it's stressing me out. My first pregnancy was a miscarriage so I'm a little hyper aware of things I think. I have anatomy scan on Wednesday. Would you just try to wait it out or call in morning to see about a heartbeat check? I don't want to stress for 3 days but I don't want to be annoying or high maintenance and go in....WWYD?
Have you tried drinking ice cold water? Or orange juice? That can sometimes kick start baby into having a party. Also though before 24 weeks feeling baby kicks can be sporadic.

I've tried water and juice but nothing yet....I know it's still early and I didn't even feel my first til 22 weeks but its hard not to over think things.
It is probably due to where your placenta is lying, but to give yourself peace of mind phone your doctor in the morning. The worst thing that can happen is that they tell you to wait until Wednesday.
i was just telling a friend tonight that i could go several days without feeling him until ~22w and then it started to be more consistent.
still, if it's stressing you out, call. stress is no good for the baby and they can probably fit you in for a quick check with the doppler to ease your fears.
Any luck yet? At 19 weeks, movement is not going to be consistent yet. Definitely call your doctor if you feel like you should, but I would try not to worry too much.
I felt similarly as you. I felt movement early, but it wasn't consistent until 21 weeks. I was sure something was wrong and juice didn't always work so it was hard to wait it out not knowing. No harm in calling, but I think you're normal.

I feel like movement wasn't consistant for me until aout 24 weeks but it didn't stop me from worrying! I would call your doctor just for peace of mind but I'm sure you are normal.
Thanks everyone for your replies. No movement yet. It's hard to sleep when you are waiting around for a baby to move. . I might call when they open depending on how anxious I feel in a couple hours. I want to hold out til Wednesday so I guess I'll try to distract myself as best as possible. Thanks again!
I would definitely call if you're worried, although I would guess they'll tell you it's completely normal to not feel consistent movement yet. I can understand wanting the piece of mind though!
This is my first pg, but I wasn't feeling any definitive (this is definitely baby, not gas or whatever) at all at 19 weeks. I'm now 26 weeks, and it's really only been in the last week or two that I've felt movements each day.
