I'm 27.5 weeks and I'm already struggling to put on and remove my shoes daily. Bending over, even while sitting, is getting painful. When did you find bending over to be a chore??

Probably around that time. You'll adapt and find better ways to do things. But by the end there's just not comfortable way to put your shoes on, it's always a PITA. I find I can squat and bend decently now, but getting up is a major pain (especially in the tub).
Ugh, shoes. And socks too, for that matter. I think one of the few redeeming things about being PG in the summer would be flip flops...I would love to wear flip flops all of the time right now.
Around the same time as you. What's weird is some days it really bothers me and some days I can do it fairly comfortably. I think it depends on where she's hanging out. H thinks it's sorta funny because I'm always grunting when I have to bend for anything, like he thinks I'm joking. If he's around and it's difficult, I just get him to help me.
Yeah, around 26-27 weeks. Some days aren't so bad. I actually find sitting on the stairs helps for putting my shoes on. It's okay as long as I only have to do it once a day.

I was probably somewhere around your point when I started having issues. At this point, my usual tactic is to spread my legs as far apart as I can, squat a bit, then bend over, all while groaning loudly. It's incredibly graceful Frequently, if I want to pick something off the floor, I just stare at it for a bit and then decide it's not worth the hassle of picking up.
I think I started asking my patients to pick stuff up off the floor for me around 28 weeks pg (I'm a pediatric speech therapist)...the kids that were able to understand what I was telling them got a kick out of helping me, and their parents got a kick out of me saying my belly was too big for me to bend over without getting out of breath

This works REALLY well when there's someone else in the room with you, because they will usually feel pity and pick it up for you :-)
Actually, if I need to pick up something that I dropped, I find it much easier to "lunge" rather than bend. Sometimes I need something to steady myself like a chair/desk/table, but it's much easier than bending.
