Had some minor back pain last night, nothing significant. By the time I went to bed, it had gotten pretty severe. I'm having pain that runs from my right shoulder, down my back all the way to my hip. I've never had pain like this before and it hurts to sit, stand, lie down, walk. It had me in tears last night it was so bad and persistent.
Laying in bed with tons of pillows at the moment. The pain is manageable, but I know it's going to get worse if I try to get up. I'm going to call the OB as soon as they open at 8:30. Any idea wtf is going on? Pinched nerve? Something else? It came on pretty suddenly from ache to Ohmygodshitfuckouuuuuuch and has me really freaked out. Baby is fine and moving. She was on the right side of my uterus a lot yesterday, but as we speak I feel movement on the left and the pain hasn't subsided.
Eta: I don't believe this is labor-related. No pain in my abdomen or even across my lower back. It's a constant lightning pain running down from shoulder to hip.
UPDATE: I'm ok!! Doctor thinks it's musculoskeletal, thank god. It still hurts like hell, but she recommended a heating pad, massage from H, and she prescribed a muscle relaxant for bedtime. I'm wondering if this is a result of my prenatal massage from this past Saturday, which would be annoying. It was heavenly and I really wanted another!
Haven't don't the bath thing, but I do think I'm going to hop in the shower and let the warm water pass over my muscles. It was a little better when I got out of bed a bit ago, but it seems to be getting worse again.
It's 7:40 in Chicago and I am watching the clock like a hawk. Really hoping the nurses can help me out.
I had a pregnancy massage on Saturday morning, but I can't imagine this would result three days later?

Duh. Lol. Half my family lives there, I should have remembered the time difference! You should have a 24 hour number for your office if things get really bad before they open. Hopefully the shower helps.
Doctors want to see me today. Based on my Googling, I'm afraid of pre-e/HELLP syndrome. The shoulder pain, the back pain lines up w my kidney, nausea, and I'm at an increased risk due to my gestational diabetes. Hoping this isn't the case. Thanks, guys.
