Errands, children's museum, clean, screw around on computer, cook, play with kids, bathe baby.
I'm going to get my haircut later tonight.
Sorry you were so anxious, jeekerbeeker. That sucks.
Your kids are really cute! The children's museum sounds fun; I have never been to one before.
It's all good. I came off my meds awhile back but decided to get back on them so I am just kind of waiting for everything to kick in and balance me out again.
Another snow day here! Gotta love those 5-day weekends. DS and I watched Jake and the Neverland Pirates all day. Well, we did go outside and play in the snow for a while. Then snuggled with hot chocolate on the couch. Just finished bath time and waiting for DS to finish his round of vitamins before we go upstairs for the bedtime routine.
Worked from 6am to 1pm with the most annoying coworker. She's VERY immature (she's 28, acts like she's 16). Drove me nuts.
Got home and waved to H has he left for work, hurried and got Em ready and went to see my Granny who was in town! I spent 2hrs with her and my cousin at her hotel. So much fun! Hope just in time for dinner!
I did have to park in the parking ramp/garage and spend $5 because there were no open meters.
Em still hasn't napped, it's almost bed time! THANK GOD! I'll finally get to eat dinner!

Work was slow but passable. Dinner is almost on the table and I am trying to get warm! It was way too cold here today. The issue I am having is horrendous dread of going out at 9:45pm for an indoor ultimate frisbee game. The game will be fine, it's just coming home at 11:30 all sweaty and cold and hyper that sucks.
My day was good! We are reading The Midwife's Apprentice in preparation for the Medieval Festival field trip we're going on soon, and the kids in my class were VERY impressed with our poop-centric conversation. (The main character keeps warm in a pile of dung in the beginning of the book). My students are hilarious. When I said the word 'turd' they were so shocked. lol
My day was dumb. Work was slow so it felt like it wasn't going to end. Plus, I woke up sad and felt really anxious all day.
As far as tonight goes, I have dinner in the over, I just put on the movie You're Next and I am here.
Now you go.
Ooh tell me how this movie is when you finish it.
Definitely...I am hoping that I don't regret watching it alone. Ever since I started living alone I am pretty sure that an ax murderer is going to break in every night and get me. lol

Got up and ready for work at 6:30. Called boss at 7, she told me to go back to bed. Slept in til 10. Made breakfast at 1 with H. Lounged my ass off all day. H is upstairs playing ping pong. Not sure what's for dinner.
Good. I ate breakfast, made the kids' breakfast, got ready, shoveled the driveway and cleaned the cars, got the kids ready an delivered D to school, went to Trader Joe's and Whole Foods with the girls, home for lunch and hanging out and cleaning, got the girls ready and picked up D, came home and cleaned for about an hour and half or maybe more, visited with my sister and mom and it was a decent visit, had pizza and somewhere in there managed to run three loads of laundry. I also got to watch a little bit of news.
I got to work from home due to the snow and started at least six projects that still need to be finished. I did make progress, there's just always more to do.
I just finished eating dinner with DH and I'm planning for the training I'm conducting tomorrow. Supernatural is playing in the background so I've been a little distracted.

If you don't mind sharing, what do you do and what kind of projects are you working on?
My day was ok. My students were super loud and complain-y, but I did a kick-ass job of managing individual instruction for 20 kids over 90 minutes.
Now I'm sitting in a meeting and I want to poke my eyeballs out. We have instituted a "stewardship program," that requires students to clean our classroom and work spaces. I have students who don't know how to use a broom. It's great that we're doing this (actually, I'm kind of iffy on it), but we really don't need to talk about it all the freaking time.

I loved this book when I was younger. I wrote the author a letter and she wrote me back a handwritten note!

My day was excellent. I was off work and the weather was gorgeous. We took our dogs to the dog beach and after that my husband and I went on a nice long walk and hike.
I just prepared some homemade ceviche that we will have for dinner tonight and now I am going to read a magazine in the backyard with a glass of wine.
Let's see, I went to the gym, did a lot of laundry, cleaned up the kitchen, and prepped chicken that is now marinating. I was planning on cooking dinner in about an hour, but H just informed me that he has to go meet his dad and brother with some ski stuff, so we're going to have dinner out with them instead.
eta: Also, Bella has crusted blood all over her chest. Her wounds have finally stopped oozing, but the smell is seriously bugging me and I have no way of cleaning it off of her without it hurting a lot. Ugh. So gross.
Eh. I was kind of in a bad mood all day for work related reasons. That, plus since schools were closed today some people brought their children (grandchildren in one case) to work and it makes it really hard to concentrate.
Good day today! Had a follow-up ultrasound to check on me and baby (background story here). Everything continues to look good! Kicking up a storm, emptying her bladder, anatomical changes in the brain reverting back to normal. My uterine incision looks healed and my small amniotic separation has reattached. Keeping the faith!
Also got to go out to eat with my mom and grandmother. Nice to get out of the house for a change and enjoy the beautiful weather here.
Now, I'm back in bed taking it easy. Trying to pass the time.

It was a stupid day. Unmotivated at work, got into a fight with H over e-mail l, and now we aren't speaking. I'm watching Sofia the First with the girls before putting them to bed. I'm planning on sleeping on the couch I'm so mad at H.
I did get a haircut and eyebrow wax after work, so there's that.

I've gone non-stop at work today, right through lunch. Will be gone from the office for the rest of the week and am trying to get as much of the piddly shit that's cluttering my desk done and out. Now, I'm off to the grocery store, the gas station, and home sweet home.
I took a mental health day to catch up on sleep and get some stuff done.
I rearranged my bedroom and I like it much better now. I did some laundry, put a new bedskirt and sheets on the bed, mopped the kitchen and dining room, vacuumed the living room and my room, took out trash, had a shower, found my yarn and started crocheting again... pretty good day aside from the headache I've got going on.

Thanks! The museum is really fun if there aren't a lot of kids there. We've figured out the times when it is quiet so we can run around like we own the place.

My day was OK. I had a hard time getting back into a routine after a five-day weekend (no school Friday or Monday planned and then a surprise snow day yesterday). Rumors are being spread about a snow day tomorrow for the low, low wind chills (-25 or 30) but I am hoping we still have school. I just want to be able to get into some sort of a routine with these kids.
Right now, I am doing nothing. Just lazing about, really tired.
