I live in casual clothes. I only have to put on work clothes once a month for a 2 hour meeting in the office, otherwise I am always at home. In my rotation of winter clothes I have 2 pairs of jeans, a pair of black corduroys and several tracksuit trousers. I am 5w5d at the moment and not in maternity clothes. 2 days ago my 1 pair of jeans broke, huge hole in the leg that can not be repaired. Today I noticed my second pair has small hole in the leg that will be probably grow and by Sunday I am going to need to throw them out.
With my pregnancy with DS I was in maternity clothes by 14 weeks. With my missed miscarriage I was in maternity clothes by 9 weeks. I do have some maternity jeans in my cupboard.
Now the WWYD? Would you go and buy normal jeans to wear for a few weeks? Or would you just start wearing your maternity ones now even though you have no bump?

I feel like you'll need more than 2 pairs of pants in the next 10 weeks or so. I might buy one more pair, but not more than that because you have no idea how your body shape will change after you give birth.

I only had 1 pair of jeans and 1 pair of slacks the entire pregnancy, wore leggings and dresses and skirts a LOT, I'd deal with it for the 3 weeks you need them.
i'd get a pair or two of cheaper jeans if you can. i needed a new pair around 8 weeks (my favorites got a rip in them) and got two during a sale at the gap. i knew i'd probably get at least a month out of them with normal wear (FTM) and then another month or so with a bella band. i'm still wearing them now at 14 weeks with no bella band (but probably will need one soon) and am glad i got them to tide me over for a bit.
