We just got our Panorama (cell-free fetal DNA screening) results back. Low risk for all chromosomal disorders screened, so yay!
And also...it's a boy! How accurate is this? Can we start painting the nursery? (LOL, as if. We haven't even started to think about this yet!) Or should we wait on the anatomy scan for confirmation?
It's pretty damn accurate, even more than an ultrasound, since it's based on DNA! Congrats!
Ok, I guess I just wasn't sure if there was some chance of error in the analysis? I guess there's no reason I would have a Y chromosome floating around other than a boy baby!
I was trying to make sense of the confidence intervals in the Panorama report, but it just made my eyes cross. I don't really know that much about statistics!
Congrats! I can't remember, did you have a boy name already picked out?
We've mulled over boy names and sort of agreed on one, but I don't think we're 100% set on it yet. H was so cute after we got the results. He's been poring over baby name websites ever since

I just did panorama today. Can you tell me know long it took you to get the results back?

Seven business days. I think 1-2 weeks is typical.
