We went to a friend's house to play games on Friday night. There were 5 of us. One person had some nasty, stank feet. Whenever one person would leave the room for a few minutes, the smell would dissipate so it wasn't too hard to figure out the culprit. Would you say something?
FTR I didn't say a word but I may never be able to eat Chinese food again. The smell of the person's feet and their Chinese food is burned into my memory right now.
Unless you plan on spending a lot more time around that person, I wouldn't say anything.
Edit: Or if you do say something, maybe say it really nicely like, "I truly don't mean to offend you, but have you looked into foot or shoe deodorizers?"

It depends on how close you are to this person. If you're close, tell him/her. If you're not, is someone else in the group closer friends with him/her, and they could relay the message?
We had a friend over once whose feet stunk up our carpet after she left. I had to use two rounds of baking soda and vacuuming before the smell dissipated. It was gross.
ETA: If you are close and decide to tell stinky feet about the problem, I would wait until you're in a situation where it happens again, and you can maybe bring it up privately and/or humorously. I feel like my answer is skewed by my relationship with my close friends, though - we would definitely tell each other something like this, although I know it's probably really uncouth to do so.
I would assume this was a 1x thing, they grabbed some shoes not realizing they were stinky and then were mortified for the rest of the day (not that this has ever happened to me...).

I would love it if this were the case but it's been getting progressively worse for months You guys, H was burying his nose in his sweater. I agree there is no tactful way to bring it up so I think I'm going to have to bow out next time.
