I think it's hilarious. Look, there's probably like 20k people who post on the bump. At any given moment one of them could be going through a tragedy. That sad fact is irrelevant to the humor of that post.

I read that post, it was hysterical. It was a very sad coincidence that it happened right after someone lost her baby. This doesn't make it insensitive. The mother who lost her baby is probably not obsessively perusing the AP board reading all the posts.
I really want to send that link to my anti-vax friend who has gone off the deep end with all of this stuff, but it would probably be the final nail in our friendship's coffin.

It's not sad to lose a vehement anti-vaxer as a friend. Just sayin'

She's also anti-formula, but not in an "I BF my kids because I think it's what's best kind of way", in an "I can't believe you're poisoning your children!!!" kind of way. My supply never came in for whatever reason and we spent a ton of time and money to try to figure out why and fix it. She actually told me I should be using donor milk.
Anyway, my mom said about a week and a half ago that Natalia crawled (not sure if I believe that, but whatever). H put on FB "So my 5.5 month old daughter crawled today! I guess formula feeding is not as bad as some people think". She hasn't talked to me since. I'm not even a little sad.
