I am planning a 6 day trip, 2 travel days and 4 for the parks at WDW. I want to spend 2 days in Magic Kingdom, one in Hollywood Studios. Where would you spend the 4th day: Animal Kingdom or Epcot? I am taking a 6 and a 4 year old. Or would you recommend one day in each park? Thanks for any advice!
I'm biased because EPCOT is my favorite park but it really depends on what your kids like. Mine love traveling so we spend a lot of time in the World Showcase. We visit each country and get their Kidcot passports (available for sale at EPCOT) stamped. My daughter loves princesses and there are tons of them doing meet and greets in the world showcase. They also have meet and greets with more traditional characters (Mickey, Donald, etc.) in the future world section, and my kids also like a lot of the rides in future world. The park is generally not as packed as Magic Kingdom.
My kids don't particularly care for animals or the meet and greet characters at Animal Kingdom but if yours love animals, they may really enjoy it.

You might be able to do EPCOT every night. Animal Kingdom and the Magic Kingdom tend to close early during the off season so you could do a day at Animal Kingdom and then head to EPCOT for dinner and Illuminations.
The Magic Kingdom can easily be done in one day unless you want to see every single show/entertainer/parade/etc. If you are staying on property take advantage of the extra magic hours for the Magic Kingdom; you can hit most of Fantasyland without the crowds.
The Studios can be a half day- there really isnt much for younger kids and it doesnt have very many rides.
I would do 2 days in MK and park hop the other 3 in the other two days. If you aren't getting a park hopper, I might be apt to say skip Hollywood Studios. We love EPCOT and AK (DD is 3.5). EPCOT also has an aquarium, and a Nemo ride, in addition to the princesses. You could do HS and AK in the mornings, and do 2 nights at EPCOT.
I took my 3 year old last month, and she LOVED Hollywood Studios. We did the Great Movie Ride, Toy Story Mania, Disney Junior show, The Muppets, The Little Mermaid show...it was great! If it were us, we would skip Animal Kingdom because we really felt like there was not much to do for her. We did the safari and the Nemo show, but the Lion King show is closed until May. She isn't on to look at animals for long, and we did the flying Dinosaur ride and that was it. I would totally pick Epcot because of the Nemo ride and Turtle Talk with Crush, the Imagination ride is good for kids, too. Spaceship Earth as well. If they are tall enough, then Soarin' and Test Track will be fun for them. There is also Club Cool where you can try international drinks for free, kids think that is fun. There is the Donald and the Three Amigos boat ride in Mexico and the Maelstrom ride in Norway. But definitely keep two days in the Magic Kingdom!

We took our 6 and 4 year olds in September. We did 2 days Magic, 1 day Animal Kingdom - this was a short day and then pool day and 1 day Hollywood Studios. We didn't enjoy Studios at all and it was also a short day. I wish we would have done Epcot instead. The girls really liked the safari at Animal Kingdom and meeting Pocohontas was a must for us.
