It doesn't say anything about a cleaning fee, so I'd ask about that, but does anything else look off? Are there any questions I should ask when I inquire about it that would help me figure out if there's something wrong with it?

It looks fine, if small. DId you check to see what the price is for the nights you want? In the Spring it looks like it is ยข120 a night, which is what, $160 a night? That seems pretty good but not crazy cheap. I would imagine it is smaller than the pictures portray but for two people would be great.
Thanks ladies! Yep, it's just the two of us, and it's quite a bit bigger and cheaper than the hotel I had been considering (and in a better location to boot).

I have only used vrbo for beach rentals, never internationally.
I think it looks fine. The only thing that jumps out a little is that there are no upcoming stays on the calendar. It's possible they just don't keep it updated.
When I inquire, I always ask for a "total quote, including all taxes and fees." Some properties are managed by companies that tack on booking fees, etc. If they don't include this info in their reply, I ask about payment terms (ex. 50% deposit, remainder 30 days before arrival) and security deposits.

I think it looks nice! We stayed in an apartment near the Spanish Steps when we went in December, and it was such a great area to stay in. We were on Via Mario de Fiori. Have fun!
