Lurker here. I'm in DC, on work's $, and just finished up with a big presentation. I'm with a few coworkers and we want to go somewhere really good for dinner. Cuisine type mostly doesn't matter. Tell me where we should go! Thanks MM!
We had excellent dinners at Graffiato (Chinatown), Jaleo (Crystal City location), and Founding Farmers (Foggy Bottom area). I'd be hard pressed to choose between Graffiato and Jaleo, but the white sangria at Jaleo would probably win out on a hot day.

I used to live in DC and I love all of these places. I am also partial to Zaytinya and Cava (I really like Greek food).
We ate at Boundary Road 2 nights ago- we had heard that is a new trendy up-and-coming place.... Don't bother going.... Just a lone window A/C unit, and food that is "fine" but def not worth the price. Thumbs down.
Given that it's a bit last-minute, you may have trouble getting reservations at a lot of the places PPs recommended. I would try Cava on Capital Hill - it's SO good, and you should be able to get in.
