Cold weather makes me book trips

I can't be the only one who does this!

The cold gross weather inspired me to go ahead and book our 5th anniversary trip (not until December)...and I'm glad I did, because a few places I looked into were already booked for the holidays.  We're doing 3 weeks in Thailand.  Here is our itinerary - would love any suggestions from those who have been!

4 nights Bangkok
3 nights at an elephant sanctuary
3 nights Chang Mai
3 nights in Khao Sok national park
5 nights on Koh Jum at a beach villa

We have other trips between now and then, but I'm such a planning addict I had to pull the trigger on this one already.

So...anyone else planning/booking something good?

That sounds incredible! The elephant sanctuary would be a dream come true for me. Maybe I can convince my husband we need a cold weather getaway again soon!

I'm working on the hotels for our trip to Italy this spring. It's been annoying because we're (unintentionally) arriving on Easter morning, so everything is either full or really expensive. Good thing Italy is worth it!

That sounds amazing! I would love the beach there and the elephant sanctuary.

I planned our summer beach vacation to Destin, FL (our first time) last month and now I'm planning a Fall long weekend trip to Chicago for a Half marathon there.

Edinburgh- just got back
Prague/Budapest/Vienna
Slovenia
Stockholm
Monaco
Valencia with kooshball!  
Jamaica
Vegas/Seattle (home) for Christmas
Dublin


I still have 5 days left I need to use. I'm trying to do 12 new countries this year, so I need to be strategic about where to go with my last few days.

I'm pretty stoked for this year, I'm not going to lie.

Some of the trips are for things (Justin Timberlake concert, F1 race, weddings, etc...), so it won't be a totally low key vacation, but I'm still looking forward to going nonetheless.
