We finally started painting our foyer, PIP. (AW)

I'm so happy, DH has been working for 2 days and he is halfway done.  We are painting all of our oak trim white so that is adding to all of the labor and time that this project is taking.

Me too.  Our house was built in the 90s and they loved oak.  Oak trim, oak floor, oak steps, oak cabinets.  I am so thankful that there are actually really good quality cedar doors throughout and not more oak, lol.

Very nice! We're in the process of buying a home built in 1989 and the oak trim is OC. I haven't yet mentioned to my H that I'd like to paint it all white. He might pass out. But I feel like no paint colors other than white/cream/beige really look good with the oak! I think we'll start small with the master BR and once he sees how nice it looks, he'll want to paint the rest. That will work, right?
