We're finally - finally! - starting the half bath reno.
Looking back at my blog, we finalized the tile pick circa April 2, and everything else in mid-March. Since then we got distracted by other projects and the ordering got delayed.
I am so happy to be starting. Plus demo will be fun.

Yesterday we painted the dining room and finished spray painting our patio set. I was hoping to use the patio set, but with a high of 101 degrees today, that'll have to wait.
I'm trying to decide what else to work on. I could do the crown molding in the dining room or I could power wash the front of the house. Power washing might be better if the temperature holds since I tend to get soaked when I do it.

I will be working in the garden and trying to clean up after the big storm. Last night I went shopping for some patio furniture and ideas for DD's room. My patio furniture was broken during the storm.
I cleaned out the plants that have stopped producing and didn't survive the heat out of my veggie garden. Got all the potatoes except two plants picked and all the onions pulled up. My monster zucchini is still growing
FI is applying for a receiving job at BB&B which would mean discount for me I'm doing laundry and straightening things up today and hope to get at least one spool done tomorrow and I'm spray painting my chairs for the front porch.

I took another load of crap to the storage unit this morning in prep for our guest room & bathroom project. I need to take a load to goodwill, but DD is asleep on my lap which NEVER happens, so I'm procrastinating. She's too sweet. Plus, I'm sure the second I stand up, the nausea is going to hit me.
i bought a little dresser than will be converted to a tv console. trying to figure out how to proceed. i'm guessing most of the work will happen monday on though.
We're having a fence built out front! Well, to clarify, I'm not. I'm trying desperately to stay cool inside with my toddler and 5-month baby bump. But it's coming along nicely:
earlier this week we started the refacing of our fireplace project. it is a tricky thing, timing wise, since we have a toddler underfoot. we had it down to just needing the grout put on today. so, dh took P with him to run errands, shop, etc. and i did the grouting on the fireplace. we used 2x2 slate mosaic tiles, so it tool longer than i would have liked with all the lines (so glad dh talked me out of the 1x1 mosaic).
i will post pix later when we finish the wall painting around the fireplace that is left (the rest of the living/dining room is done), along with the new hardware and curtains hung.
