We're leaving next week for a 4 day trip to the San Juan Islands in Washington. We've rented a cozy beach cottage right on the water and I hope we'll see some orca whales. Looking forward to kicking back and relaxing with some beautiful scenery!
Are you going or did you go on a babymoon? If so, where?
We didn't care about a "babymoon" per se, but we both have vacation time in May when I'll be 28 weeks, so that will work out well. We're trying to decide where to go. I kind of want to do a tropical island, but I'm not sure we'll want to spend the money on that. DH mentioned a road trip to Charleston or Savannah, which wouldn't be bad at all
Going to St. John in about a week. We didn't take any vacation last year due to fertility treatment. This winter has been so miserable, I just need to get away, babymoon or not.
Although we weren't necessarily calling it a "babymoon" we went to France & Switzerland in January. It will probably be the last international trip before baby!
I really wanted to go to Italy this year, but since we have already had a ton of unexpected expenses pop up this year, that is going on hold, and we'll probably drive to Florida in May or June for a beach trip. I want to go somewhere new but we aren't sure where yet.
We didn't really plan it as a baby moon since it was a trip we had on the books before I got PG, but we did Thanksgiving in St. Lucia. I was 27 or 28 weeks and we stayed at a small boutique hotel with excellent food...basically we lazed around on the beach or in the hammock on our porch and ate. It was wonderful.
No pre-baby vacation for us. I'm not allowed to travel past the 20 week mark and neither of us had enough PTO for a trip prior to that. We knocked around the idea of just taking a long weekend in Charleston (I lived there for 7 years, H has never been) and flexing the time off, but we're lazy...

How far along were you? Did you feel comfortable being overseas? I'd really love to do another Europe trip before baby, but it would be around 5.5-6 months.
We have no specific babymoon plans, but we have two out-of-town weddings early in my third tri and one of them is at an awesome resort, where I shall recline by the pool in my big-bellied glory.

We're traveling for work together when I'm 32 weeks. H will be speaking at a conference and I'll be attending (I guess we work in the same field [education] but never work together as he's an author/consultant and I'm a classroom teacher). Not a vacation though. He keeps talking about all these things to do on my spring break, but I'll be 38 weeks pregnant so I'm gently reminding him that we'll probably prefer staying home. He travels a lot for work anyway and I have a lot of guilt taking time off as a teacher since we get summers off so we won't be going on a trip.

I was 16-17 weeks and felt fantastic. I have not been sick and energy levels are still fairly high. We didn't push too hard (slept in most days, etc.), but still did a lot of sightseeing & spent time with our friends.
I plan to keep flying until 30 weeks or so, but don't have any more international trips planned.
I definitely think we'll go somewhere for a week in May. Probably Croatia, since I've been wanting to go for ages now, and it's still reasonably cheap. If we can't make it to Croatia, we can always do a weekend in Barcelona or Bruges.
we're going to aim for a taking trip sometime over my spring break. probably just a few nights a few hours drive away, a bed and breakfast or somewhere with a spa to get pampered a bit.
We had a "pre-baby bucket list" of places to go before we ttc. It took a few years, but we went to Italy, France, England, Hawaii, Thailand, Hong Kong, South Africa, the Seychelles, Jamaica, New Orleans. We had an Iceland trip planned for Thanksgiving that wound up being a babymoon.
I'm going to miss traveling like that! We had a LOT more expendable income before I got pregnant.
We wanted to go to FL this Spring but now my sister is talking about getting married in June. No date or plans are made yet. She did this last summer too. Drives me bonkers!!!
95% sure we're doing Marco Island in Florida in April. I can't wait!
We almost booked a trip there!!! We decided instead to do Fort Lauderdale. We are staying at a small beach resort and I plan to do lots of laying around. Also, they have a lazy river pool things which I am super excited about
I'm hardcore saving pto. I'm taking one day for our normal weekend anniversary getaway, and 2 days in May to see my bff's baby and for my baby shower. C'est tout.
