Weekend mornings when dd crawls into bed with us to watch TV Savasana after a really awesome yoga practice Getting into bed early and catching up on our shows with dh
I've got a 3-day weekend on the horizon. I get paid once a month and am always happier when payday rolls around (it feels like is the point of me showing up to work), so it would also be a payday weekend. I am wearing something cute, possibly shopping for something cute. My apartment is clean and I've grocery shopped, my dog is clean and doesn't have dingleberries or need a hair cut. I have a bunch of candles that smell good. I have no homework due and a DVR full of good shit.
In my new home with my kids and H. Like - Friday nights with the pizza crusts still sitting on plates and me and H sprawled out talking about everything and nothing while the kids climb on us and watch old Disney movies.
Love.
It's what we are doing for valentines day tomorrow. Lol. But there will be wine!
apalettepassion.wordpress.com/ WHO IS BONQUIQUI!?!?!?!??!
"I was thinking about getting off on demand, but it sounds like I should be glad that I didn't"
Home - when DH and I are sitting on either side of the couch and I have my feet on his lap and we're doing our thing; reading on our phones or watching netflix or a redbox movie together. Sometimes it relaxes me so much I end up falling asleep without noticing and I wake up and H is still there with my feet on his lap.
Drinking a Starbucks hot chocolate while wandering around Target sans kids OR have an afternoon to browse through a fabric store (I started doing this as a young girl - does that make me weird? I would beg my mom to bring me and spend hours looking through pattern books and the calico fabric bolts)
Curtains open with the sun pouring in on my couch, Lifetime or Hallmark channel on, popcorn and drink, blankets, and depending on whether or not I have PMS, my little family, too.
Yes, this too!
when I was a kid my version of this was laying on my bed (top bunk of bunk beds) with sun coming in to make it cozy warm, with a new babysitters club book and a bag of m&m's. Lol.
