;D I'm excited! We barely ever use it since most of our workouts have been outside. Recently I've only been using it for swimming at one to two times a week, totally NOT worth the $90 we've been paying every month.
We are thinking about doing Crossfit from September-December, which is the off season for me and then getting back outside for training once January comes around. I'd love to drop a few pounds and gain some muscle!

I don't think I'd have my gym membership if it wasn't included in my fees. Before it was, I was just paying the daily fee to swim a couple days a week. So much cheaper.
In the past you have been very anti-CrossFit. What changed?
You people changed me!!! I keep reading about it and see so much change in people that I think it's worth a try!
It's really expensive here, so really that has been my main concern. I don't think it should be that expensive. But I think it's worth trying for a few months! We'll see what happens!
Crazy! I hope you enjoy trying something new! Our gym membership is up at the end of the month and I'm debating whether or not I want to renew it or try something new (like maybe crossfit).
Congrats! I've been playing around with this idea as well, I go to a yoga class every couple of weeks and I just don't think it's worth it either. But I just really like having the option of using the treadmills in case of bad weather. I'm a waffler.

I totally understand. I was skeptical about CF for the year before I tried it. I saw people doing kipping pull ups and I thought they were insane.
Good luck, and hopefully you see the results you are hoping for!
Just wanted to say that I felt the same way and thought my husband was crazy and going to seriously injure himself. Then I started researching it and watching YouTube videos and talked to some women who do it. After my trial session, I was hooked and found a way to mentally justify the cost .
If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them. - Bruce Lee
