Of the same. DH has DS right now I'm suppose to be sleeping to get ready for the MOTN. Anyways he just screams and cries after every evening bottle at least. We go back to the ped on Monday so I'll ask her then. But it breaks my heart to just hear him scream. We bounce, rock, shhhhhh, swing, burp anything we do it. sorry just venting.
I'm sorry, I remember how tough that is. DD was colicky and the screaming is hard.
We had some success with doing all 5 Ss together. Just a few didn't cut it. Have you watched the dvd/video about the 5 Ss? Trying different types of motion helped us find what DD liked (she preferred being jiggled on her left side to swinging, especially the head jiggle while being swaddled, sucking on a paci, and me loudly shushing in her ear).
Just wanted to say that I feel you. We or I should say I had a rough evening with DD. Every time she cried/screamed from 5 pm onwards, I nursed her at the rate of pretty much every hour. By 9:30 pm, I was feeling beat up and crying myself and my husband didn't seem concerned that there was a crying baby and mama on the couch. She eventually just passed out after 10 pm at some point. I should also be sleeping but I felt like I needed a brain break before going to bed. And a bowl of ice cream.
We had this same issue on Sunday but on a worse scale. She was prescribed reflux medicine on Monday.
Ds had an earlier witching hour from about 4-8 weeks it was really bad. From 2:30pm until 5pm like clockwork he'd just cry and cry and cry. The only thing that comforted him was walking or driving him to sleep. Hang in there, it's a short phase in the grand scheme of things, and doesn't last forever.

have you tried a swaddle. i swear by the 4 S's. swaddle, sway, shh, suck.
i don't know how old your baby is, but yes DS DEF had a witching hour and nothing would help. nothing. between 6pm and 9 pm he would just scream. it lasted maybe 4weeks-8 weeks? and then got better. so frustrating and difficult.

It's so hard, but it won't last forever. Use earplugs when you're trying to calm your baby or when your DH has him and you're trying to sleep. It helps a lot. I used the white noise machine too, when DH was tagged in.
Sorry for the late response. He's FF, I do use the 5S's, DH has him at night so i can get a jump on sleeping since I do all the MOTN feedings. I hope this witching hour ends soon it breaks my heart.
Also he just started spitting up a little bit yesterday first time since he's born. OH and we do burp him after every ounce.
