I just ordered a pair on amazon because I'm about to work three weeks in schools without A/C, and skirts/dresses make up the majority of my work outfits.
I'm pretty sure my SO thinks I've officially given up.
I have the Velrose ones from Amazon and when cut to the shortest length they are fine under skirts/dresses that are above the knee. My only problem is a skirt I have that has a slit up the back, but with everything else they are great. Pantaloons = <3
those look too long for the dresses and skirts I usually wear.
As amamba previously explained, we fatties who get chub rub generally don't wear skirts short enough for this to be a problem. I pretty much only wear knee-length skirts and dresses.
I actually need to get more. I have 2 pairs from JCPenney, but the elastic is shot in one and I cut the other too short to be much good. I have 3 pairs of the Vanity Fair kind available from Kohl's, and I prefer them.
dexteroni, they are much more comfortable than bike shorts because they are loose and allow the legs to breathe.

See, now these make sense. I can't wear bike shirts or Spanx because when I walk they ride up. I end up having to yank them down. Half the day I am doing the duck walk as to not have them slip up any further thus cutting off circulation to my lady bits.
Pantaloons ride up on me. I'm better with spanx or cut off panty hose or bike shorts.
For me, even at my very thinnest, which was like a trim size 4, hip size 34 max, super hot fit legs, my thighs still rubbed together. Some of us are just built that way. So, even losing weight doesn't necessarily help.

Yeah I think it matters how your legs are attached. I have pretty muscular runners legs and my thighs don't touch. It doesnt really matter how much you weigh just genetics. ( unless you are super model skinny) I had no idea people had to deal with thigh chafing until the nest.

This is true, but the chafing is much, much less at least for me when I was a healthy weight. I need to lose a lot of weight and it has certainly made the situation much worse. I just wear pants in the summer.

agreed. :Y: my thighs have always rubbed together. at one point I was thin enough where they did not touch when I was standing, but they would touch when I walked (perhaps I walk weird? lol).
I use body glide to avoid chafing issues. Don't you all get hot when it's 100 degrees and you are basically wearing an extra pair of shorts under your clothes? Days like today, I want to wear less clothes, not more.
