Weird question, but has your kid been any different to you since you became pregnant? My mom keeps telling me that kids can sense that something is up.
We have not told DS yet. He has always been a mommy's boy. Loves cuddles and kisses from me. Always snuggles with me, never with DH. He likes DH for playing lego and stuff, but me for the quiet time. But for the last few weeks it is Daddy everything. He does not want to cuddle me or anything. I am feeling so rejected.
He's been much more gentle with me (he's 4 1/2) but that all started after we told him.
Maybe it's a quick little phase and hormones make it seem awful (I would have been super sad too!) or he's just super intuitive which is pretty cool too. I bet he's back to snuggling soon!
I have my hormonal moments with DS1 thinking 'what are we doing to him?!' Ahhh pregnancy.
She has been so clingy and no longer knows how to play by herself. She wants to pretend play with us all day long. It's exhausting. I swear it started about the time I found out. Coincidence though I'm sure. She doesn't know.

My 3.5 year old just wants a lot of reassurance that she's going to be my baby even when she's a big sister. My 5.5 year old is just really really excited.
Nope. We told her about 5 weeks ago. She's just excited about teaching her baby sister how to play, sharing her stroller, and the "timeout room" [as she puts it - lol] becoming her sister's room.
Much more clingy and he wants to be picked up ALL THE TIME. He used to be so good about playing in his room by himself for a good hour or so if we are nearby. Now he won't even go into his room unless we force him at nap time.

No, but my dog has been really clingy and all over my stomach. She's even been wanting to stay in the bathroom while I shower, which is weird because she's not that clingy. DS just kisses my belly if I say "kiss the baby!"
