Did anyone put a bed/cot in the nursery and then find it useless/regret it? Did anyone wish they had a sleeping option for mom/dad in the nursery like this?

We have a full bed in our nursery. I do not regret it one bit. We didn't sleep in there when DS was young (he was in our room) but as we got older there were rough nights when he wanted to co-sleep with us. WE did that in his room. Then we DH, DS and I all sit on the bed and read stories and nurse. It also makes a good place for us to get him dressed. In fact, we are moving to a house (so we have another place to put the bed). I told DH I don't want to get rid of it lol.
We have a double bed in the nursery. It has only been a week but so far, I think it will be great. We use it to feed her or change her sometimes. I think my husband might have slept in there for a bit one night. I think it will be useful and if anyone comes to visit, it is nice to have that extra bed and we can always move the baby somewhere else.
We have a twin. Love it. I slept there for the first 4 mos and now when she wakes to eat I lie there while I nurse her before returning her to the crib.
We have an aero bed and I have used it in the nursery sometimes. Mostly when baby was too old for the pnp, but I wanted to be near them all night (croup, stomach bug, etc). Also, the air conditioner in that room is better than mine so I slept in there when it was super hot sometimes too.
I would not have wanted an actual bed in there though.

I would have loved that if we had the space.
When we had DS1 one of us was basically always bed sharing with him in the guest room for the first few mo ths anyway. It would have been better if it was in the nursery.
And I guess I will clarify that the baby never sleeps in this bed, only in her crib. But I like to nurse laying down, especially as bedtime. And it's good for playtime and as a place to out all the stupid stuffed animals that aren't allowed in the crib.
