In 3 day method, you aren't moving a potty around the house. Peeing and pooping happens in the bathroom. And you're right, you don't take them at intervals.
The first signs to start with might be peeing, but as you spend literally all day glued to her sign, you will probably notice an uncomfortableness you didn't pick up on before. Or she'll start to develop it after a few accidents where she starts to realize what happens when she lets go with no diaper on.

There isn't just one three day method. The one I used had you have a little potty nearby at all times. The idea being you can catch them right when they start going and put them on it so they get the idea that that is where they're supposed to go. If you're too far away and don't make it they may not make that connection.
op- you do not so intervals. You want them to know that feeling of having to go and head to the potty at that time. The only time I took him in intervals was when we we're out of the house.

We found that naked time worked better than going straight to undies. Keep the potty in the bathroom and run them to it if they start to go - they'll pick up on it. We still go pants-less a lot at home, but DS prefers it that way, I think because then he has an easier time going potty by himself (we're in a big "I do it!" phase). Stickers, little treats, lots of praise, and patience from you.
