I've had 2 in 24 hours, but they aren't that crazy.
Last night I was looking at boxed chicken and read "fully breastfed" instead of "fully breaded" and walked around wondering why I had never seen that on a box of chicken before.
I also just tried to cook my grilled cheese in the microwave, pan and all, and could not understand why the pan wouldn't fit. That's due to my very limit sleep as night, and my headache, lol.
I was pregnant and had just done some errands. I was trying to tally up what I spend in two stores - so just like simple addition - while I was driving. I got so frustrated I pulled over and used the calculator on my phone.
The first one that comes to mind is when I was trying to explain my pregnancy brain to a friend and said that 'I forget certain..you know, those things that you say...'
This morning at work I went to the bank first thing. I got all the way in to the counter before realizing is forgotten all the banking back at the office.

I was taking a shower when one of my kids was a newborn and was already rinsing shampoo out of my hair when I realized I was still wearing my underwear.
I had my daughter in her infant seat and I put a blanket over her to keep her warm and did not buckle her straps because we were not leaving right away. Later I drove on the freeway to my sister's house 15 minutes away without double checking. When I got to her house and took the blanket off DD I was mortified.
Oh I just remembered I left the front door wide open. Not just unlocked but wide open. That happened 2-3 times. I would carry DS, my purse, lunch, DSs bag with bottles to the car. I intended to strap him in and go back to close the door but forgot.
Now I take everything to the car, get DS and close the door on my way out. I can't trust myself anymore.
I once left my car running in the company parking lot for 6 hours
This reminds me of when my DH first rented a prius. He said he left it running all night long, it was still running when he got in the next morning.
Yeah, I have a prius - the only reason anyone noticed is because it was the summer and someone happened to walk by (that also had a prius) when the engine kicked on for the a/c.

DH said it was just too quiet and it may be the reason he will never get a prius because he did that the second night of the rental and he thinks he may keep doing it by accident. I want a prius if we ever get to replacing our cars in the future. He said that overnight run barely made a dent on the gas gauge.
I took Mia out of her stroller, strapped her into the car seat. Shut the trunk and drove off and left the stroller there. Luckily I figured this out shortly thereafter and it was exactly where I left it. Hey at least I remembered to put her in the car. I was pregnant with Kai at the time.

OMG! I have done this once although I never needed to go on the freeway. I was still so scared, to this day I still have the "what if" thoughts and how I would never ever forgive myself if something had happened that day (this happened 6 months ago and I don't know if I will ever forget or stop thinking about it ever). I have never told DH this because I feel like an idiot and the worst mom for putting DS to that much risk.
The night I was discharged (the boys were in the NICU) we went to dinner at a pub like place near the hospital. I ran into a coworker who I didn't recognize. He gave me the weirdest look and said,"Fryjack, I'm Dave. From work. We've worked together for 7 years."
That's not even the worst part. I told him that I just had twins and that we had named one of them Hunter. Nope, not my kid's name. That name was never even in the running. I have no idea why that came out of my mouth. I think the Mag was still messing with me and narcotics were giving me a little high.
My H and I went to Target and I bought an Icee. When I went to the machine to fill my cup I realized it was broken and I was pissed. My H walked over and asked what was wrong and I said "THE FUCKING PRINCESS MACHINE IS BROKEN". I also once asked him if he had shaved his hashbrowns (sideburns).
I would leave formula milk in the pantry ALL the time. Especially when I was making the pitcher since the formula can went in the pantry too. I cannot tell you how much I wasted doing that.
Along side that, DH would find cheese, yogurt and all kinds of refrigerated stuff in the pantry and be like "WTF is this in here?"
I was trying to get into a room at work and was pulling and pulling on the door but it looked like it was broken. I even went and got the building proctor who proceeded to push the door open for me. So mortified.

God, I did this when O was maybe 6 weeks old. My stomach twisted so hard once I got home and saw she had been unbuckled the whole time on the freeway. Truly scary.

Sadly I did this with both kids. I was mortified too. It's a feeling you can't shake, like WHAT IF??! Ugh, thats the worst.
Yes. Research studies have even shown that "mommy brain" is real. Fantastic right? I used to say it was sleep deprivation but I still have word finding issues sometimes. :?
When I was pregnant I walked out of a restaurant without paying the check. I realized after 5 minutes of driving down the road. I did make sure the bill was paid...
While pregnant with Henry, I forgot to put the car in park. My Honda actually had a recall notice it on it because it allowed you to take the key out of the ignition with the vehicle in gear and that's exactly what I did. I was walking beside it when it started to roll. My pregnant ass got in front of it and was pushing on it to keep it in place. Luckily I was on a level surface and was able to push it forward enough that I could get to the driver's side and jam the emergency break on before it rolled too much again.
