Baby must be growing cause I cannot seem to get enough rest. Doing nothing last night and sleeping well seemed to not do anything to get me energy. I just wanna fall asleep at my desk right now. Oh and caffeine is no help as I can't drink much w/o killing my digestive system.
Yes, my first trimester was exactly as you described. I wasn't opposed to drinking coffee (I love it!) but most of the time I couldn't stomach it and it didn't seem to touch the tiredness anyway. Second tri was great - energy up the wazoo. And now I'm back to wanting to nap all the time.

Ya, I'm beat/ I have been working 60+ hrs 6/days a week since 1-1, and I have about a month of it left. DD goes to bed at 830, I go to bed at 845. I'm just whooped.
I am constantly exhausted. I cooked food today for the first time in 2 weeks. I also did a load of laundry, washed some dishes and picked up some of my kid's crap (lego, papers, socks, etc.) off the floor. And I went to the shop for cherry pie. But that is all I have done and I feel like I have run a marathon... and my boobs feel like I ran the marathon without a sports bra on too...
first trimester is very bad for exhaustion. Then, a magical period of feeling almost normal! Then third trimester exhaustion hits, accompanied by annoying bulk and body aches.
I still prefer the third trimester to the first trimester though. I hate the first trimester of pregnancy so much.
You are so close to the 2nd tri though! You'll start feeling better soon.
I get hit with exhaustion randomly. I'm very thankful I work from home with a flexible schedule.
So I'm one day ahead of you and I also have been slapped randomly with exhaustion today. I envy you, I'm a teacher and the kids WORE ME OUT today. I'm home and can not move right now (plus I was up all night last night) but I have 45 tests to grade yet because I need to enter in grades tomorrow. I often wish I had a job where I could come home and do nothing until work the next day
Spring break starts march 8th. I plan to sleep the entire two weeks if this is going to keep up!
I've been tired this whole first trimester. I haven't slept through the night in two weeks or so. I got more sleep last night than usual, but I'm ready for bed now. Can't wait til the second trimester to get that burst of energy!
One day last week I was practically in tears when I got home from work because I was so tired. It was like 3:30 and I immediately took a nap. Fortunately this week is a little better (fatigue-wise anyway; it has not been a good week for my stomach!)
i'm in second tri and still have my tired days. i slept so terribly last night that today was definitely one of them. good thing there's only two more days left this week!

I can't imagine having to teach a class of kids all day right now. I will gladly take working from my couch in PJs! Of course it does have its downfalls, too. I pretty much stay working off & on 24/7, but I wouldn't trade it for a typical schedule right now. I'm enjoying my naps in the middle of the day.

I would love a typical schedule, too! It took me until 10 PM to finish my grading And work! I'm wondering how other teachers do it.
