Has anyone used one? Which one and what did you think?
I never had a flat belly to begin with (I carry my weight in my middle), but it makes me think I'd like to avoid extra jiggle if possible, plus I sorta feel like it's going to just feel like organ soup in there after she's born. I'm skeptical that it makes a difference, plus they're pricey, I keep reading you need multiple sizes, I'm afraid I'll lose interest in it due to discomfort or not seeing results, AND I have no idea what size I'd need. A lot of them say pre-pregnancy waist size and I have no clue what that was. It feels like an eternity ago that I was not pregnant.

I asked for one in the hospital after my CS. It has made a huge difference in supporting my abdominal region and back. I am only a week out so I can't comment on its long term effects, but I do feel like it has helped my midsection start to return to my more normal size too..
I bought a Belly Bandit for my first. All the reviews said you should buy two because the one that fits you immediately PP will be too big in a week or two. However, I was cheap and didn't want to shell out for two. I wore mine until it got too big (8 days) and then gave up. It did help while I wore it though.
So second pg, I bought another in the smaller size. Wore the first for a week and the second for another 2-3 weeks. I think they helped.

I never had a belly binder, but I did wear a bella band (those stretchy things that are supposed to help hold up your pants, before you go into maternity clothes) for a few weeks. It felt nice to have something tight on my abs. My stomach skin is full of stretch marks and will never be what it was, but I do think it helped things to tighten up.
Find out if your hospital provides one before you buy one! It helped me tremendously after my c section. I def needed it for a couple weeks following for the support it provided.
I got one when leaving the hospital (I had a c/s). It helped hold everything together, I was squeamish about my incision and having the support made it easier, if only mentally, to move around.
This is the one I wore after the bleeding stopped. I wore it for a good 5-6 weeks, it helped support me after my c-section (hospital did not provide me with one).

I used the bamboo belly bandit after my csection, It felt so much better wearing it. And FYI maybe it was just because of the csection but there is no comparison to wearing a belly band. This offers much more support and construction Maybe I'm wierd but my belly shrunk a yon the hospital. I bought it at the hospital right before discharge and was able to wear that size for 6 weeks. I just had more material wrapped around
I bought the belly bandit before I gave birth but ended up with a c/s and just used the one the hospital gave me since it had a larger velcro part and I could use it longer.
I forgot to ask for one at the hospital but have a belly bandit. I have been wearing it only the past 2 days or so and only when I am not nursing or eating which is like less than a few hours a day. Before then it wouldn't fit and I didn't wear it in the hospital. I will update in a week or so.
