I'm 39w,3d. I had an internal on Tuesday and was not even 1cm. I know that doesn't always mean anything.
Yesterday I felt like normal but kept waking up in the night with nausea. This morning I had cramps and diarrhea. I now have the odd cramp and backache/achy kind of all over. I've been laying on the couch all day napping and generally feeling like crap.
I can't tell if I'm getting sick or could this be early labour signs?
Too soon to tell but definitely could be. You could time them and see if they are less than an hour apart. I know you are nauseousness but drink water when able and get up to pee often.

Thanks, this could go on for days though, right? I felt completely normal yesterday, wish I had got more cleaning done!
I hope not! lol. If you feel ok in-between cramps or nausea episodes then you can still do some tidying if you want. When i was in early labor (and knew it) I was vacuuming, and getting the house ready, lol. GL I hope they get stronger if it ends up being the real deal.
Good luck! You never can tell how long early labor will last.
And FWIW, with my DD, I was barely a fingertip dilated at 40w2d, the doc started talking about induction, and I went into spontaneous labor that night. I lend no merit to internals.

That sounds suspiciously like early labor (especially the diarrhea part - it's your body getting ready for baby to exit). Get your bag ready, call your doula if you have one to give them a heads up, and try to rest, shower, and do what you need to tie up loose ends. Good luck and keep us posted! I hope this is it for you!

It certainly could be. I had some of those things. Although with the body aches I'm sorry to say also be on the lookout for illness. Either way stay hydrated and well fed.
