I'm returning a Christmas (!) present that was purchased at JCPenney and is worth $70. I am expecting to get store credit. I never shop at JCPenney. If you had this credit, what would you buy? I'm thinking about a new coffee pot or a food processor.
I just bought a pair of running shoes for $55, and everyone at my house in Friday loved them (had friends over for dinner) and said they were going to buy some, too. They are gray & purple Adidas, if that interests you at all.
Their kitchen stuff is pretty decent, as are their soft home goods like towels, sheets, etc. If I had the credit I would probably buy new towels, but only because I'm looking to replace a bunch of ours soon.
They do have some cute clothes, it can be worth a quick browse through if you're looking for anything for yourself. Otherwise your ideas are good too.
I never have a problem finding stuff. I never shop at JC Penny, but I would probably walk around the housewares and find tons of stuff I didn't know I needed.
HOLD THE PHONE. JCPenney has a SEPHORA inside it? No way!!! Please explain further
Some stores, especially the remodeled ones, have a mini version of the regular Sephora stores in them. They carry a smaller supply of what is sold in the larger stores. Also, if you have a JC Penny card, you can make online Sephora purchases via the JC Penny website. :Y:
personally - sheets and/or a quilt for a queen bed because we're upgrading mattresses soon.
i've never been a huge fan of their clothing, but the housewares section is great. i'd wander around for a bit and easily find $70 worth of stuff i don't need, but can't live without.
or shoes. i've bought several pairs of shoes from jcp that i love. sandals, dressier shoes, runners... lots of options.
