This is my first pregnancy and I started feeling bloated around 6 weeks. I basically stopped wearing my jeans at that point and stuck to skirts/dresses. I could button my jeans and they were ok if I was standing. But when I sat down, it was really uncomfortable.

Ok, I'm hopeful about it potentially ending at 6-8 weeks. It seems like it doesn't matter what I eat, but we did have mexican for lunch - maybe that's why it's especially bad today.

I think, to some extent, it also depends on whether your body is used to processing lots of fiber. Your digestion slows down, so if you also increase fiber, you get more gas+bloating. And even if you don't increase, I think you get more gas+bloating.
Pregnancy is so full of unexpected side "benefits"! No one tells you about them, either!

I (already) forgot that I was constipated quite a bit during my first trimester. That definitely did not help the whole pants/jeans situation. I was not prepared for everything slowing down. That was a big unexpected side "benefit" for me. haha

Second baby, right? Yeah, you'll be bloated for the next 13 weeks if not longer. LOL Sorry! I'm finally losing some of the bloat and getting belly, but if I eat too many carbs or something, then I pay for it with bloat. I'm always way more bloated by the end of the day than in the morning, too.

Yeahhhh I was bloated too from the moment I got a positive HPT up until 14-15 weeks when it turned into a tiny bump. I always have eaten tons of fiber and drank my 3L/day and there was just nothing I could do about it. Except unbutton the pants like you did! And get some maternity ones and wear sweats
I experienced between significant bloat around 6 weeks. In the morning, my pants would fit normally, and by the end of the day I was unbuttoning them in the car. Still going strong at 12 weeks, although now my blump is there in the mornings too.

Mine never ended it just got harder and turned into baby bump.

Yep. I went straight from immediate bloat to a belly. And whether bloat or belly, it's always bigger at the end of the day.
2nd pg here and For me I was bloated from BFP on and food aversions and round ligament pains kicked in a few days after, so avoiding salt and carbs wasn't possible. GL!!!
