I only turned it on for a minute this morning. I saw the bloopers where people kept calling her Samantha and was very confused. But she looked like she was doing well as an anchor.
She and Matt have much better chemistry than he and Ann did. I will equate Savannah to Katie Couric; very bubbly, always smiling, light sense of humor. I think she'll do well, although I don't think she'll challenge Matt and keep him in his place like Meredith did.
She did really well for having someone throw a guitar in her hands and ask her to play a song with her idol on a whim! That's quite a first day in her new role, lol!
I like her a lot. She's bubbly, but she's also very educated and has a bit of a different attitude when she's talking law or other news points. I also like she can poke a little fun at herself with the cooking segments.
I like her. I prefer Natalie. But that ship sailed. I also noticed in her flashbacks that she looks better with darker hair, IMO.
So why didn't Natalie get the anchor position after all? Her supposed affair with Matt? Is she still on the show? (I don't watch it, but I like to hear the gossip )
I mean, she went to Georgetown for law school, got the highest score on the AZ bar exam, and worked at a pretty good biglaw firm for a few years before getting into journalism again. I think she's plenty smart.
I know that MM smart judgment system is basically all about education and if you are a lawyer you get a few extra points also... but my system is different. I don't care too much about education... I mean, she got her undergrad at U of Az. If you were breathing, you got in.
Well, a U of A grad was good enough for Georgetown Law (apparently) but she doesn't make the grade for you b/c of her undergrad pedigree? Lol. Okay.
So, she's Elle Woods. Ditzy, undergrad sorority girl gets into top law school and goes on to have a successful career, all while still being somewhat ditzy?
We couldn't watch much of it. I don't know why, but my dog hates her. He barks and growls when she's on screen.
Probably because she looks like a chipmunk.
At least she is much better to look at than Meredith. I was happy to see her go (I don't get the Meredith love), sad that it didn't work out for Ann, and curious to see how Savannah does.
