LOL at the tight pants. I would have agreed with you a few years ago, but I've seen waaay tighter pants in hipster neighborhoods in Chicago
As for the shorts thing, I think in general men are fine in the coastal cities. Did you see a lot of the "pirata" pants (capris?) Man! I hate those! A lot of my male cousins wear those (they obviously live in Europe...)
You guys are so freaking cute!! Glad you had a fun trip, but we've missed you over here!
Macaroons are on my current list to try. The look so good in all their little pastel colors, but I've never had one. I must get one!
I love Macarons! How could I forget to comment on that photo?! The bad thing is they can be hit or miss in the states. Believe it or not, Starbucks used to sell a pretty decent box set. However, I haven't seen them since 2010. In general, most bakeries macarons are too dry or lack flavor.
Sounds like so much fun! I sadly have to agree about the people in Italy not being so nice . I'll be (finally) visiting BCN in September for my bro's wedding and CAN'T Wait! Parc Guell is obviously gonna be one of our stops.
Looks like a fabulous trip!! I love all of the pics! Isn't BCN gorgeous?! It looks like all of your other stops, as well as you and YH, were too!
I had my first macaroons in Paris in April, yum! And I love your H&M sailboat dress! Whenever I see someone wearing it, I still kick myself for not buying it!

ME TOOO! I saw someone wearing it yesterday at that Vintage Bazaar and was all irked haha.

Love your pics, thanks for sharing! I'm so jealous of Capri -- I was supposed to go there when I went to Italy a few years ago, but the day our tour group was supposed to go, the waves were too harsh or something and it got cancelled. Boo
LOL @ "Are you not entertained?" and your husband singing with his linen pants. So funny.
Looks like an amazing trip! H and I are actually toying with the idea of a cruise for our 10th anniversary next year, but we've never done one before. Would this particular tour be a good one for first-time cruisers in your opinion?

Thank you so much for posting this! H and I are looking into doing a Mediterranean cruise for our next vacay. I'm surprised to hear your thoughts on Italy, but totally lol'd at the men using vagisil comment and your H singing Marc Anthony!
Great pics, you guys are too cute, and loved all your outfits!

I would not recommend it for first-time cruisers. There was only one day at sea (the last day) and because some of the cities we visited were about an hour to an hour and a half away from the port, it was EXHAUSTING. This is what you saw when you got off the boat in Livorno (Pisa/Florence):
H was like, "Oh hey, we're in Elizabeth, NJ" lol. You couldn't even walk around the port, you had to take a shuttle out.
Because the cities also required a LOT of walking, when we finally got back on the ship around 6:30, we didn't want to do anything. We usually showered, took a nap, then got ready for our 9:30 dinner. Then passed out.
If we go back to Europe (which will take a LOT of convincing for H b/c of how horribly we were treated in some places), we'll go to Scotland, Ireland, & England.
That sucks about being treated badly. I hope it doesn't turn you off from Europe forever. I've only been to Milan and I was fortunate enough to find Italians extremely friendly/good looking, too
Now while traveling to other countries, teenage Italians are another story. My friends who love in Prague say a lot of the Czech can't stand the young Italian tourists haha.
Like Mav said, there are bad people everywhere. And friendliness can vary by region (think of the U.S: people aren't the same in NYC as they are in NOLA or Portland, for example).
Awesome pics Renata! Thanks for sharing! Sorry about Italy, I can't wait to tell my H cuz his mom's family is from Italy.. maybe that explains a lot though she was born and raised in the states. .. LOL! I am so jealous though! I would love to travel every year if I could! My H is boring. He saves all his vacay time to spend x-mas with his fam. I get a few days but majority of his 2 wk vacation is out in the boonies in PA 20 min away from a state prison.
Oh and welcome back! We missed you around here! For some reason Birkbop is missing. We don't know WTF happened to her. We might have to start putting missing person ads on wine bottles. But in all seriousness, I hope she is okay.
