So, now that I am making a commitment to the Pilates classes, I think I need some new stuff to wear. My current workout attire is stuff that either doesn't really fit well or is stuff that I hate. I find that a few things are comfy with the positions I'm in on the tower/reformer.
So, please recommend your workout wear. My studio is far from trendy so I don't really care about brand. (I've heard rumors that Costco has some good things to offer.) I just would like things that are comfortable and can be worn the few blocks from my apartment to the studio. Tops that have built-in support are also nice.
My favorite for yoga and pilates are Lululemon WunderUnder crops and Cool Racerback tops. The Cool Racerback does not have built-in support, unfortunately, but it is on the longer side and I find that to be really good for not worrying about the top riding up while I'm in various poses (I'm also pretty tall).
I know you said you don't care about brands but LLL just stays put so much better than any other brand of activewear I've tried. I am constantly tugging at my clothes during class when I'm wearing anything else. CostCo does have Lululemon knockoffs for MUCH cheaper. I have a pair of pants from there that I'm pretty pleased with, but have not tried their tops.
I am a fan of GapFit. It washes nicely and is comfortable and you can usually get a sale. They actually have a sale starting Friday 30% off if you use your Gap, BR, or ON card in store or online. And all their pants are currently on sale online and in store.
My current favorites are the gFast Capris and the racerback tank. In the fall/winter, I like the gStretch pants. I originally end up at Gap because their pants are available in Ankle length and have been really happy with them.

C9 premium line at target (newer) tanks and fitted Capri or lulu wunderunders and y tanks All wicking cuz even in non hot classes I'm a sweaty beast. The new premimum line at target to me is a knock off of lulu. I've been much more pleased with them than the old c9 line. Much much better
I met somebody the other day that is an independent yoga teacher and she said that if you are in the industry, you get a 15% discount at Lululemon. Worth checking out.
Thanks for the suggestions. There is a LLL outlet at Woodbury. DH and I are going this week so I'll be sure to check out what they have there. (I am not in the industry so I can only dream about the 15% discount on that one.)

I love the lululemon wunder unders for pilates, and the astro wunder unders. The tight leg is nice because we have our legs in the air so much. I don't usually wear their tops though. I have a few sports bra, the champion brand at target, that I like a lot. I'm not sure why I don't wear LL tops! I have a couple and I feel like my boobs are just too on display. haha
I'm a devout LLL fan but I also WFH so I end up wearing it on the daily as well. Matter of fact I put on my 'nice' clothes (the anchor dress from J Crew) yesterday and I felt weird. haha! Anyway, the quality of the clothes (even though I've heard from some that it's declined in recent years) is second to none in my opinion. On top of that, the clothes are comfortable and super flattering (obviously not every item for every person but in general). I know it's not cheap but I honestly feel that you get what you pay for. I've been in and mentioned some pilling on some of my studio pants and they exchanged them immediately, their idea to do so even the pants were almost a year old.
I didn't know about the discount for those in the industry until this thread, thanks NikNik! I'm about to be a certified Zumba instructor and I think that qualifies based on the websites info! YAY!
MissHark - Really? You don't wear the tops? Maybe I have a smaller chest but I haven't ever felt like the girls were on display, could be the ones I have of course but that surprises me
