We're redoing the half bath, and while it's currently a disaster I'm looking forward to future steps: like what color to paint the walls!
It was originally SW Sleepy Blue:
(We are keeping the vanity light & mirror.)
We already have enough Sleepy Blue in the basement, leftover from the half bath + family room, which is the same color. (The half bath is off the family room.) I really like the color.
When redone, the bathroom will have this tile:
which I expect won't be that different at a distance from the old laminate.
It will have a new white toilet, white pedestal sink, white molding, and white beadboard about 36" high, sort of like this:
Would you stick with the current blue, or go a shade or two darker on the paint chip card?
If you are leaning towards something darker I bet SW will help you darken the paint you already have.
I'm sure they would, but I want to keep the leftover paint the color it is so that I have it for touchups in the family room.
I don't mind buying a quart size if I decide I want darker blue. I'd like to make the decision though so that if I'm buying paint I can jump on a SW sale if one comes along.

I think I'd go a little darker, like the inspiration picture. Unless the picture of your old bathroom is just really light, it looks almost white to me on my screen.
I might go several shades darker. I'm really liking darker colors now after years of light & airy. I painted the powder room in House 3 navy, and I didn't love it, so I'd probably go somewhere in the saturated gray-blue world.
