Anyone else have this? I always have a gross taste in my mouth. Drinks, including water always have a wierd taste and no matter what I eat I always have a weird after taste. It's such a weird symptom!
Yep, that was my major first tri symptom, and it SUCKED.
I remember bowies dealing with similar symptoms. For me, the terrible taste was mostly gone by 16-ish weeks, but there are still things I can't eat because they taste like dirty moldy yeast, including most potato chips.

YES! It's been driving me nuts and was one of my first symptoms. I'm guessing this is why I can't drink plain water without having to puke. Everything has a horrid aftertaste and it's like I can't even stand my own saliva!
Oh yes. I do not miss this. I'd find myself spitting things into the trash can because they just could not be in my mouth anymore. Food tasted like curdled milk shellacked in rubber cement.
Though, my dysfunctional relationship with toothpaste continues. I can't NOT use it, but the gag factor is intense.

Yup. It has eased in the second tri, but some things I normally like still taste off (anything vinegar-based, in particular, like pickles and some marinades that we use often with a balsamic base).
Water tasted awful until week 10. I added juice from oranges or lemons just to drink water.
Sweets tasted awful & left a bad taste in my mouth. I went 8 weeks with no chocolate. My DH couldn't believe I wouldn't touch m&ms. Carbs leave a weird after taste too.
I didn't even realize it was a symptom. I've noticed it though. I've started carrying mints because I just don't like the taste in my mouth. And definitely foods and drinks taste different. Boo!
I have been lucky and not had it this time, but I did kind of had it last time. In my late second trimester/early third trimester I had to train someone at work. This girl did not smell or anything, no one else had a problem with her, she just literally left a bad taste in my mouth. It was so weird. She did not wear perfume or anything. I evenually spoke to my boss and she moved me away from her and someone else carried on training her.
