I weighed myself this morning for the first time in about 4 weeks. I had expected to have picked up weight because of all the crap I have been eating, and the full sugar sodas that I have been drinking. And have mentioned how many gallons of chocolate milkshakes I have been drinking, man I can not get enough of the stuff. Instead I am still at least 6 pounds down since I got my BFP. It made me so happy that I walked to fetch DS from school and then walked back. That is just over 3 miles.
My H just took (and likely rocked) test #1 of 4 for the CPA exam. Woohoo! He's been studying like a mad man, and now gets to take the weekend off before getting back into it. He also took Monday and Tuesday off work because our anatomy scan is Monday, and took Tuesday just for fun. Woot for some fun days!
I just ate some delicious chocolate pudding, and am thinking about indulging in another. So tasty.
ETA: I totally ate another one. I need to stop using the excuse of "I haven't gained any weight yet, so..." because that sh*t is going to catch up with me fast!!

My baby has been kicking/punching a lot today and I just love the feeling. And some of the movement has been big enough that I can see it outside my shirt. It's so crazy! It may be that I'm a hard sleeper, but it seems like he/she moves all day long, then settles down at night, in tune with my schedule. It would be pretty incredible if baby keeps up this pattern outside of the womb lol. But again, maybe it's just that I'm a hard sleeper and just don't feel movement in the middle of the night yet.
A little brag about my H. I sent him an article from Baby Center about a pre-baby to-do list, expecting him to freak out about everything we have left. Instead, he praised me for doing so much already and said our No. 1 priority was spending time together doing stuff we won't be able to do when the baby arrives (this was low down on the list). He has since bought movie tickets for the weekend and arranged for dinner at a great spot.

Yay, H! Bonus points for him. This is very true. Enjoy this time together!

This is awesome! Although I have to admit it would have the exact opposite effect on me. I'd pat myself on the back, then drive to pick up the kid, and very possibly pick up a milkshake on the way there. lol.

I think you're pretty lucky! Most of my mom friends have warned me that their babies acted up the most when they were still/calm/trying to go to sleep. haha

Thanks. But I am now paying with guilt for the walk. Turns out the kid had a fever of 102.2 and I made him walk in the rain and at least a mile of the walk home was up a steep hilll. I also called him lazy when he complained. Bad mother right here.

Awww, I wouldn't worry about it. Moderate exercise is a good thing when you're not feeling well, I think. ANd now you can spoil him.

I fully expected this too! I do sit down all day at a desk and that's when I feel the most movement, so maybe he/she is moving around because I'm not active; but either way, it's during the day and that's a perfectly great time for baby to be awake too I like to think it's tuckered out by the time nighttime rolls around lol.

I am the same way! I have decided that baby is already sleeping through the night so that must be a good sign, right? *fingers crossed* I'm pretty sure I'm just sleeping through it though...no sense getting my hopes up!
H had a half day today, so when I get home dishes and laundry will be done! And even though my doctor mentioned my weight, I went home and made banana pudding... bananas are healthy, and I used low fat pudding and wafers... that makes it healthy right?

The maternity shirt and tights I ordered from H&M arrived today! The tanks are a little on the small side - not for my current form, but I'm wondering how long they'll last. The t-shirts are roomier and the polka dot one is super cute! I also have tights that will fit me now, too. Now I can finally wear my maternity dresses - though I'll have to get H to dig them out of our 'storage system' under the bed.
I mentioned this in the randoms, but I bought a snugabunny bouncer at the consignment sale last night. I set it on the couch when I got home and haven't put it away in the baby's future room because I like looking at it and imagining him or her in it. I also got a super cute top and sweater and the Motherhood outlet, and I love the way I feel and look in them. It's so freeing to not need to suck my stomach in!

Realizing today that I have just a little over 3 months until my due date makes me think maybe I will survive pregnancy and I had a good afternoon after that realization. I remember back in October when I was so miserably exhausted and wanted to cry at my desk every afternoon because I was so tired, June felt so incredibly far away and I had no idea how I would make it that long. Now that there's a little over 3 months to go, I feel like I can do it, and it's even scary knowing I have a lot to do in what isn't a lot of time.
