Her latest FB post is so smug.
"Watching reruns of teen mom, they c-sectioned a baby 'too big' to be delivered naturally...they pull him out and I found myself saying "Wow! What a big baby!" Then they announced he weighed 9 lbs, 4 oz....and I couldn't stop myself from laughing out loud. {Baby} was 9 lbs 10oz and I delivered him naturally. It truly made me stop and say Thank you God-that was all You buddy, there is no way I did that by myself! In so many ways {Baby} will forever be my reminder that with God ANYTHING is possible!"
DS was 9lbs 3oz and delivered via C-section. I'm annoyed, but probably won't say anything because drama.
I totally see the annoyance. I get the same feeling when someone goes on about being blessed to be able to breastfeed their kid until past 1. I get all "you don't know my lyfe".
reply with "I thank God for my petite figure, the efficiency and availability of modern medicine, and the doctors that delivered by 9lb baby via C section!"

I stole this response. Thanks!
Drama be damned, she's being a snot and needed to be called on it.
LOL! I'm pretty sure my sister who vaginally delivered her a 9lb. 15oz daughter, followed up a few years later by a 10lb. 8oz. son would say she did it herself!

This made me cross my legs. God really doesn't like her at all.

Apparently not.
We make big babies in my family. After she had my nephew, I asked her if she was doing okay, but I was horrified because of what she had to do.
The funniest thing is that her GFIL was a big confused after baby no.1 and kept telling people that my niece was 15 lbs., 9 oz. at birth.
"Thank God for the availability of C-sections so my vagina wasn't destroyed by my 9lb baby on the way out. Thank you, lord, for my ombligo maintaining it's size and shape. Amen."
(From what I understand, a baby that big would probably do some damage on the way out, right?)
I had a smaller tear than SIL who had an 8 lb something baby. It was only 2nd degree. Cavernous vagina?

I had a 2nd degree tear with my 6lb7oz baby. My vagina was dainty.
Yeah, with God it's also possible for a baby or mother to die during childbirth due to lack of necessary medical intervention. Wonder how many people are praising him for that reality.
My date many moons ago was correct that I have child bearing hips as I delivered two large babies vaginally and I thank God for the person who invented the epidural. I am pretty sure THAT is what it possible for me to do it and not God.
I don't like it when people give God too much credit. Have some pride!
and don't let her get to you though I can see how that would be difficult.
Pffft. Amateurs. 6.15 (3 weeks early) followed by: 8.13 9.3 and 9.10 All vaginally. And those suckers shot out like they were primed from a baseball pitching machine. Doc just had to sit there with a glove.
