Edith has two blankies that she's had since she was a baby.
Fuzzy used to be fuzzy in a nice way, and now he looks like a Skid Row Muppet. Still fuzzy, not so pretty. Baa Baa was originally the comforter from her crib bedding set. He is named Baa Baa because he has a sheep print on one side.
Freddie has a fleece blankie with cars, trucks, planes, etc. all over it, and he calls it My Baa Baa, which aggravates Edith immensely. Which he seems to enjoy.
I am my kids lovey. It's annoying. She is particularly enamored with my hair and it often makes me want to cut it all off just so she will stop touching it.

She doesn't have a lovey blanket, but she has a stuffed meercat that she named Zsa Zsa when she was like 8 months old. Or at least that's what it sounded like she said, and I just kept calling it that.

Bran has a fleece blanket (well, four because I cut it into quarters when I realized it was THE BLANKET) and he calls it Gankie. H called his blanket Gankie so when DS started his love affair with this blanket we just started calling it that.
DD has a stuffed zebra that she call zeeboo. It drives DH nuts and he tried to correct her. She can say zebra correctly so I've decided it's name is zeeboo.
Anna used to have a cow named E-I-E-I-O Sophia has two. One is a yellow bear named "doodoo yellow" and one is a tiger named "doodoo tiger". Doodoo is French for lovey. One of my kids clearly lacks in the creativity gene, lol

I keep trying so hard to get B hooked on a lovey, but like the pacifier, she is not impressed. At least I got her to stop trying to tweak my other nipple while she is nursing.

DS1: Has a blue bunny, cleverly named "Bunny" DS2: Does not really have a lovie. He does have a stuffed Halloween Angry Bird that he calls "Spotty" No idea why.

Oh, the nipple tweaking gave me rage with Henry. I was never able to stop him. This time I'm determined not to let clare start. I still feel ragey if her hand even wanders over to my other boob.
I don't have a kid, but someone I know has a stuffed beagle named Woofie. Because she got him on her first birthday and all she could say was "Woof! "Woof!"
Someone I know adopted a lovey rather late in life (at 8 or 9?) It's Meeko the racoon from Pocahontas. She just calls him Meeko.
Just Lovey. He has four of this type. They're all different but he never seemed to care. For a while, I couldn't even walk him down the baby aisle at the store because if he saw the loveys, he would want to take them all home.
A few days ago, we were talking about how people will come to visit when the new baby is born, and they will bring presents just like they did when he was born, and he told me he wants to get a present for the new baby, too... a lovey. (heart)
Aww that is so sweet. I went to Target the other day with Sophia and her favourite part was buying pacis and a lovey for the baby.
apalettepassion.wordpress.com/ WHO IS BONQUIQUI!?!?!?!??!
"I was thinking about getting off on demand, but it sounds like I should be glad that I didn't"
DS has a lion named Lion and a small blanket called Little Blanket (not to be confused the larger version called Big Blanket). Lion's much nicer body double is called Backup Lion.
