I think the style/shape is pretty classic. The year-round use would depend on the color. I think in black, clay, and caramel work best for year-round use. The other darker colors work best in winter/cooler months, while the other lighter colors work well in warmer months.

I think it's classic and could definitely be worn for all seasons.

That being said I don't love the bag style overall. It's gorgeous looking, but the shorter handles with the longer purse part may make it kind of hard to carry. If I can't get it up over my shoulder I'll never use it, but that's a personal preference.

I like the Pale Grey in the second one you posted. I also think the blue could work year round but I like the grey more.

Is the strap detachable? I know it's immensely functional, but I think it deters from the elegance of a simple tote. BTW, I love the textured leather. So jealous!!

Yes, it comes off. I like that it's there just in case. Good for traveling, etc.
