She's a good kid. I need to get it on video when she asks for one more thing. She holds up her index finger and does this head nod at the same time. It's adorable.
Awwww that is so awesome! Esp that she did it without being asked!!
C does it sometimes with her leftover Cheerios - she can only put it on the counter because she can't reach. We've had 2 incidences though where she was walking slowwwwly and carefully w her leftover cereal and coop barked. Omg. She jumped a mile and milk everywhere. Usually she makes it without incidence though. She doesn't always remember to, but often does.
She's a stinker about putting things in the trash. Sometimes she's all excited to put things in the trash, other times she has no interest in it. Ok, so she does that w everything. Sometimes it's a super huge treat, a big person task. Other times she just refuses.
I'm working on getting her to not hand me anything she doesn't want to eat. Put it on your damn plate! I don't want to hold it!
When my mom was a little girl she had a mini kid iron that plugged in and actually worked. So she would help my Gram with ironing by tackling her her father's handkerchiefs and the cloth napkins.
When my son was in the third grade he asked how the washer worked. I looked at him and said - you're tall enought, grab your laundry. I showed him how to do laundry, explained how it worked and told his laundry was now his own job and he did most of his laundry from then on.
