Holy crap. I think I almost caused a house fire by dusting

a lamp.

We have a couple of lamps that are really tricky to dust. So I was dusting this morning, and somehow, I guess the dust I couldn't get to that moved started SMOKING.  I only caught it because I could smell it in the LIVINGROOM from the BEDROOM....OMG...

We were going to leave to go grocery shopping too right after I dusted, but M wasn't done cuddling....holy crap...

Not sure if it would have actually started a fire or not, but that was really scary!


It's like this, but a table lamp.

you can't be TOO careful. I would not cook, either. 

I think you're right.

I ran the dishwasher. That was probably taking enough risks for the day!
