I'm so sorry your pup is in surgery! I'm an LVT and they should be able to run a pancreatic test pretty quickly (granted, I don't know the whole story) and gets some answers pretty quickly. In terms of surgery, hopefully they have found something conclusive since he is in there. I wouldn't transfer him, as that can cause some trauma in and of itself. If you want to Pm me, feel free to do so. I'm sorry that your vet has been giving you the run around. Hopefully he will recover quickly and you can get some new recommendations for a new one. ((hugs!))
He's out of surgery. They didn't find a foreign body. Lymph nodes were a little swollen. They took biopsy samples of nodes, intestine, etc. Surgeon mentioned IBS and lymphoma but said " it didn't feel like lymphoma". Somehow my phone went straight to voicemail so I only got a message. He said he was going in for another surgery. I may go down there in a bit. Waiting for my dog to wake up. I hate still having now answers. Ughhh
Thanks for the update, you and your pup have been on my mind! Your poor doggy must be so confused wondering wtf is going on. Fingers crossed it is not lymphoma. Been there, done that too. Symptoms were much different though.
